spannermekanix - Old news; we're witnessing that for over a year+ now; as a matter of fact, it's higher than smaller countries around us.

Whoever uses CC to refuel, beware, all the CC machines at fuel stations might go kaput for no reason just before the night or sooner before the price rise

Really this petrol price has become every day drama. On one hand there are subsidies which holds no logic in today's scenario and on other hand there are huge taxes on fuel. Give from one hand and take from other. And govt. cries foul on subsidy bills.
Subsidies should be removed and and taxes should be reduce to rationalize the prices, make fuel prices market controlled and end this political drama on fuel prices...
Govt. should have better work to do thn controlling fuel prices...

The Solution to this problem is Blue green algae... genetically modified blue green algae can produce ethanol,oil and even diesel when sunlight passes through it.. it is genetically engineered by humans..

This time we the bikers are lucky.
The diesel prices have been hiked by Rs 5/- per liter (excluding VAT), although there is no change in the petrol prices. But, I think a petrol price hike will soon follow.

well we bikers do have to eat and buy groceries right ? 5rs increase in diesel..God knows what increase of price of daily use items,vegetables etc.
Its worse than petro price hike, which btw you guessed right, is right round the nearest corner
