Petrol prices update thread

saw today on TV, that due to the static rate of crude oil, petrol prices may decrease by Rs 4 from 1st of July.
I'm not sure about the reason, but the decrement part I wrote is perfect what I saw for a second on TV.

Current Price : New Price : Difference

Delhi 70.24 : 67.78 : 2.46
Kolkata 75.81 : 72.74 : 3.07
Mumbai 76.45 : 73.35 : 3.10

'According to the new prices proposed by the oil companies, petrol will now cost Rs. 67.78 a litre in Delhi and 73.35 per litre in Mumbai. In other metros, Kolkata will pay 72.24 per litre and Chennai will pay Rs. 72.27 per litre. Hyderabad and Bangalore will see the maximum reduction in petrol prices - Rs. 3.22 per litre. '

Crap. Just when I filled up Rs. 550 worth of petrol for Rs. 77.70/litre at Shell.

i don't think petrol prices have been reduced in Mumbai, just filled 200Rs. of petrol when check the price given was Rs.76.12 per lt. Petrol Pump near Shivaji Park, Dadar, Mumbai.
Reduction is just in few paisa.

What relieved! Some states have lowered the taxes and some don't ?? what is this!! It should have been somewhere around Rs60.. where are we losing?

In Bangalore,
Shell has already reduced prices, previously it was 79~ now its 77.7

i didn't check today but in Delhi petrol's price should have been 67.xx/- per liter..
