I heard that IOL said that they can reduce the fuel's price as barrel rate came down a bit..& they take all that into account on 1st & 16th of every month,so they can decide it in next few days..

This won't help us either!!! Reducing by Rs 1.xx is real politics to calm down people from protesting. My area Autowalas already put a notice board on stands Minimum fare Rs 7 raised to Rs 10 /head

Very good people, I'd say; God knows what will happen here in Chennai; already the minimum fare is somewhere around Rs 20 or 30 (Sry, its been like several years since I've used an auto in Chennai & don't like to hire one), so imagine what these people will hike.

Not to mention, that will become the standard tariff's for the bleddy Siesel Autos as well, who did not witness price hike.

Seeing these auto walas, the call taxi's, that play on auto gas also, will hike their prices.

By the time these damages are done, it doesn't matter even if the (Turm)oil companies bring down the prices even to Rs 10 per litre!!!

guys residing in tamil nadu....make sure you start an early measure to save petrol..the pumps there are drying up...3 districts are already affected....

There may be a decrement of 2/3Rs Per liter.

Petrol prices will always go up in the future. Never dream of 50RS/l

Recently I had a dream of me buying a Suzuki V-Strom 650 ABS, When I was going on a tour,I stopped for filling it up, petrol price was 100Rs/l !!!!

Here in Chennai, petrol bunks are not stocking petrol due to price reduction. What the Central govt is doing? If they tell a concrete answer, everything will be normal. Bcoz of this , Im standing in bunks like a railway counter for 2 days. this is so annoying. Already people here forgot about the price rise and they are talking about fuel availability!!

The problem in Chennai is different. Its due to unscheduled maintenance of a few key refineries.

Can someone design a propulsion engine which runs on blood? It would be cheaper than petrol in some time. Petrol is more valuable now.
