  • I liked the decals; they are really cool. At least, they could have given GRS rear shocks, clip-ons, and tubeless tyres. Even Hunk had GRS shocks.

Who is buying the ZMR now? No offense to the owners of ZMR, but I feel the ZMR is a failure.

If they want to make the ZMR a successful model, they should strip off the full fairing, make a neat design, bump up the power a bit, give at least 110 rear tyre (even 150cc bikes are coming with 110 tyre), and finally reduce the price at least 7-8k and discontinue the Karizma.

thats not going to happen any time soon

          people are still buying

Even i second your thought of ripping the fairing apart and tyre. That would also reduce the weight,

Yes Moshin, people are still buying, but HH is not selling it in good numbers to make it a successful model, a la Karizma.

            • Just new stickers....do hell with Hero Honda. Hero group have a chance to develop their R&D and make their name in market independently and now they are still busy creating stickers.

R&D department cant be established in days or months. Can you get manpower, Infra, machines, labs all ready with in weeks from demerger?
Why Road Safety campaigns are not impacting people?

Thats what I meant actually. They need to start developing something on their own. Look I wasn't saying that they should comeup with their own model now itself, but I was saying that they should put their efforts to start developing something new.

They must be, either to develop their own R&D, buy from somewhere else (la Mahindra-Engines Engg.) or maybe look for technical tie up with some other manufacturers.

The 2011 Karizma R would be just something to keep the product fresh and buy them some time.

Yeah have heard about a lot of news regarding it. But as per my opinion Hero group would take sometime in market to get their engines established. I mean, after couple of years Honda will be out from Hero Honda and for Hero to establish their engines similar to the market players would take some time or else technical tie-up with an established player would be in their favour.

tubeless tires is a main negetive point rest is managable...
they have upgraded hunk with tubeless tires which is 150 cc only..

may be they wanted to keep the price same...that is why they havnt added tubeless tires

personally i like analaoge console more then digital consoles...'
bike like ninja comes with analaoge console...

                          • Not again! when will these bozos learn that slapping new stickers and indicators and shoddy paitntjob will laed to 'ground breaking' sales. These a-holes dont even have the capability to supply proper quality spare parts!

As ravi posted before, I also hold the notion that the ZMR was a total Failure. If only they had given the goodies of ZMR on a 'Naked' Karizma, the sales would have shot thru the roof!

                            -A disgruntled Karizma owner.
What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

you have mentioned karizma as best bike in india(in your profile)...

                              zmr is not a failure...
you know hero honda is not able to provide bikes as per demand and same is the case with spares...and its just because of increasing demand
they will solve every problem with the opening of their next plant...

                              • HH guys don't have much ZMR's to deliver it on time that's why some people are keeping themselves away from it apart from that ZMR has no problem & it has everything "extra" then a ZMA..no doubt ZMA s great as well..
