The 5 lacs ex-showroom price for the GT650 is definitely mouth watering.

I only wish they brought the bikes down through a reputed motorcycle company like TVS just like Bajaj brought the ninja down here.

For me, its more than just selling the bike or buying it. I'm at peace with my ninja knowing that service and warranty is in good trusted hands and both Kawa & Bajaj are serious about this venture. Their efforts to keep the customer happy are commendable.

Paranoid about the fact that Garware or Hyosung might wind up overnight just like they did last time.

Nice !!! The ugly decals on the fairing will come off sooner than the saree guard and front number plates i guess (Assuming its on the bike as per the rules).

The windshield also looks out of place. Maybe its the pics.

Remember reading in one of the magazines (xbhp?) that the final bikes that made it to the showrooms wouldnt have those godawful decals. It looks a lot better without any stickering.

The price is excellent. If the service is able to match up, I would look at it pretty seriously somewhere down the line. No HDs for me, thank you very much!

gyuz an interview of Diya garware was telecasted today at 1:30 PM-2:00 PM on zee business where she confirmed that they will bring 250's & 125's to the indian shores...i'm unable to find the link since i'm posting via mobile...anybody having the link please share it here....that would be very helpful to all xbhpians here..the price would be less than 5.5 lacs for gt650r & less than 6 lacs for ST7.Anybody having information regarding the decrease in the power of gt650r be like the cbr250 whose power has been detuned from 26.4 bhp to 24 bhp???(correct me if i'm wrong)

i dont think its detuned. 26.4 is the rumoured BHP and 25 is the Production BHP

                    Correct me too..

i have seen it ..although i have not seen in india .. but i seen it in Europe .. and still i can;t understand why ppl think its not up to quality comparing with japs .. i didn;t able to notice any ground shattering difference in quality.. i give it 8 out of 10 in terms of quality.. and most of bikes available here u can range it 5-6 in the scale of 10 .. trust me its much more refined and good build quality and comes almost near to others japs .. the difference u won;t notice for sure .. there are some lacking points in terms of finish [like un-noticable gap in the joining of faring like that ..] which u can ignore

Man!!! I'm really ROFL on both your points above

Anyway, I certainly agree Hyosung have come a long way & they're matured product in the present market. They're offering products for people who try to find VFM & at the same time cannot afford the Japanese engineering.

Sent in an inquiry via the form at this website yesterday and voila, i got a call few mins back from a lady by the name Swati from Garware Motors.

                                Here is what we discussed.

                                * Showroom at Bangalore located on Lalbagh Road

                                * Bikes available on display post 20th April 2011

                                * Ex-showroom price not decided yet, but will mostly be below 5L.

                                * Finance schemes available at the dealer @ 14% p.a.

                                * No test rides

                                * Bookings open ; deliveries commence from June 2011 onwards

                                * Dealers appointed at various cities, assembly plant located at Pune, no issues with sourcing of parts, no need to worry about them packing up and leaving like they did last time when kinetic brought these bikes down.

I am torn between the white and the red GT650R. I dont know how blue looks. Waiting for the d-day.
