              update

              Hi Guys ,
              Finally some news :
Delhi Dealers address is :M/s Radiant Lifestyles Private Limited, located at No. G 37-38, Global Foyer, Golf Course Road, Sector 43, Gurgaon – 122009. You can contact Mr. Sandhu on Mob. 9899899626.

I have spoken with Mr Sandhu , The showroom is still under renovation but we can have a look at bike in flesh in their Warehouse.

Mr Sandhu has already started accepted booking.
              Min booking amount 50000/-
GT650R on road delhi is 5.3 lacs ( approx ).

Will be going to have a look at bike today afternoon .

By the way guys which is the best color for GT 650R , any polling/thread started anywhere.

Just off topic : Today test rode CBR250R C-ABS version , pick up is good as you can expectt from 25-26 bhp bike but Braking !!!WOW it's awesome , C-ABS is surely the next big thing in bikes.

Will post pics if Mr Sandhu allows to take snaps.

                update

Visited Gurgaon workshop today,Had a look at both bikes .some views.

The GT650r just looks ok , No Wow factor about it , I had to say i am a bit disappointed with looks of bike , The paint quality , fit and finish of parts all looked just OK , it just does not gave me that Smile that WOW feeling , The seating position is good and not too much forward inclined.
Exhaust sound is good for a V-twin.

The ST7 looks stunning, Muscular, had a good road presence , it's really big and with loads of crome (hope they don't degrade much over period) , it gave me that big smile and had that WOW factor to it.

I had to rethink my plans as i am now confused between ST7 & GT650r ,
The only thing that is negative towards GT650r is it looks , they just don't look as they belong to a superbike category ,May be some fellow superbike rider in Xbhp can explain it.

The ST7 is stunning and has that big bike feel to it .

I am confused because i am more inclined towards riding a sports bike , with their aggressive stance and ease of maneuverability , they are meant be ridden hard and I like to ride fast if the road allows .
The ST7 on other hand is stunning but i know it's a cruiser and would have altogether different riding experience . It's can be ridden fast in straight line and obviously being a cruiser it can't match the agility of a sportsbike.

                I am confused now

Guys please help me to pin-point a bike .

Final Prices (on road Delhi)are a bit different from above post.
                ST7 5.91 lac
                GT650r : 5.03 lac ( Single color )
                5.25 lac ( Multi color )
                Down payment : 1 lac
Waiting period : 4-6 weeks as of now , May change later on.

                      Hi guys,
I know it's not a superbike but a sports bike , what I am here talking about is purely looks, As seen from the pics of GT650r and other superbikes (like r1, CBR etc ) on internet , In pics the hyosung looks good (may differ person to person ) . If you look at dimensions of bikes.

                      Bike ( Overall length x width x height ) & Wheelbase
                      Yamaha R1 ( 2,060mm x 720mm x 1,110mm) & 1,415mm
                      CBR 1000RR ( 2,080 x 685 x 1,130 mm ) & 1,410mm
                      GSX-R1000 ( 2,045mm x 720mm x 1,130mm) & 1,405mm

                      and GT650R ( 2095 x 700 x 1135 ) & 1445 mm

As per above specs GT650r is longest ,in terms of width just 20 mm smaller than R1 and Gixxer ,is also tallest and Wheel base is also largest than other 3 superbikes.

So for person like me Who has never seen a superbike very closely with patience and is completely satisfied with looks of GT650r in pics , also you can see from the above dimensions comparison GT650r is on par with superbikes in terms of dimensions (only).
So in terms of looks it should go hand on hand with super bikes , but i am not satisfied with the looks of GT650r although i should be liking it but my heart just not accept it looks ,Don't know why .
May the build quality, paint quality is not good on GT650r , super bikes are more tightly packed with very little to no gaps ,

Also one more thing guys , i started the GT650R and at idle placed my hand on the Tank,i was able to feel considerable vibes .
Some 220 owners may remember when they bought there 220 DTSi , there was some issue of a bit of vibes felt on the tank when riding it at approx 50-60 speed , The Vibes on the GT650r were much more than that in idle , Don't know what will happen when we rev it hard.

Guys please don't think i am against GT60r.Before looking at the bike in flesh I was in love with it but after today visit i am a bit disappointed . Some how it just fail to give me that sports bike feel or give feeling then it would fell apart over a period of time.
May be these are just my first impression or may be I expected a lot from bike. I want my perceptions to be changed as i want to buy it and will again visit showroom one more time for more detailed review.

Any body else seen GT650r or ST7 in flesh , Please post your first impression.

                      • Finally after long 4-5 hr of deep thought made up my mind.

Either GT650R now (Not finalized yet) as i love the stance, agility. Cruiser just does not fit my riding style.
                        OR
A Full Fledge Superbike after 2 year (hopefully) .

If i spend on hyosung now then don't know if i would be able to spend again on super bike or not .
