As someone said earlier, there is going to be a delay. It may be late 2013 to early 2014. If you visit the india page on Triumph website you may notice that they have very quietly removed the word 'early' 2013 and it now reflects only 2013. What a difference one word makes!!!Originally posted by djay99 View PostAny updates on launch dates or factory setup?

Hi Ab******,
Thanks for your email. We will be launching later this year, when dealerships are in place and we can guarantee the right level of support for the customers of our bikes. Please bear with us whilst we do this, once that happens we will be making the relevant announcements on bookings and deliveries.
Thank you for your patience and interest in Triumph Motorcycles.
Best regards

Was searching web to get some information about triumph progress in india.
Got this article posted on Feb-2013 ; Triumph may import its bikes from Thailand - Livemint
It says that triumph will bring bike from thailand via CBU route , also the duty structure has now changed and they are very low.
Does anybody has any news regarding this , I am really looking forward to buy Speed triple .

Speed triple to the tune of 10L ??Originally posted by darkknight View Posttriumph is actively responding to t-bhp thread
you can have a look there --
a speed triple in all probability will be upwards of 10L same as the current crop of SBKs available

re: Triumph Motorcycles confirms India foray: xBhp News
Got this reply from Triumph. I had mentioned them about the silly taxes and prices of the Japanese superbikes. And how we expect Triumph to be priced lower than the Japs. Here is what they said:
Hi Satyajit,
Thank you for your interest in Triumph Motorcycles. We will be launching in the third quarter of this year, when dealers, pricing and how to make bookings will be announced. We’ll have dealers initially in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore with other cities such as Pune getting dealerships during 2014.
Not too much longer to wait until we get our bikes onto Indian roads.
Best regards

Cool. Both D675 and D675R are coming out. Good thing is D675 is coming with ABS unlike the Kawa bikes.Last edited by pcgamer; 11-15-2013, 09:16 PM.

. I loved the color scheme on that. I guess, I'll have to settle with just the ABS now.
Also, no mention on Bangalore dealership yet!
