Personally, i dont mind the pillion's bum getting fried - since i usually ride solo and the heat blown off to riders hip is bearable. But, it will be outdated in about a year with likely better machinery (or tech based model). Kind of similar to what happened to the N650R during its India debut.
Some of us like myself might still be tempted despite knowing this due to the sheer love of the existing D675, but how long would triumph supply OEM parts for an outdated version SBK (Read 2012 model) - through their authorised SVC? After the 2013 release occurs.
My current 600 is less than 6 months old and i am already having delays sourcing spares. Makes me wonder if one will need to rely on after market sources after a brief period of one year since owning the '12 D675.
Would it become a maintenance nightmare?
