I dont know if its good or bad that we are getting the one with the underseat exhaust

Personally, i dont mind the pillion's bum getting fried - since i usually ride solo and the heat blown off to riders hip is bearable. But, it will be outdated in about a year with likely better machinery (or tech based model). Kind of similar to what happened to the N650R during its India debut.

Some of us like myself might still be tempted despite knowing this due to the sheer love of the existing D675, but how long would triumph supply OEM parts for an outdated version SBK (Read 2012 model) - through their authorised SVC? After the 2013 release occurs.

My current 600 is less than 6 months old and i am already having delays sourcing spares. Makes me wonder if one will need to rely on after market sources after a brief period of one year since owning the '12 D675.

Would it become a maintenance nightmare?

New colour for Triumph Daytona 675

TRIUMPH has added yellow to the colour palette for their Daytona 675, with matching pin stripes on the wheels.

The popular supersport triple has also gained carbon fibre treatment to the front mudguard, cockpit and the exhaust heat shield. The Daytona 675 now also comes with a quickshifter and billet levers.

Does the quickshifter come as standard on the 675, now? I've seen it only on the 675R.

It is good sounding but not as good as the screaming sounds of an inline 4. Just my personal opinion.

The bike looks sharp in person and quite compact.

^^^ looks like an additional 3 month delay. Now they are saying 'early 2nd quarter', previously it was early 2013. They are still searching for the land, so building of the factory is nowhere in sight, let alone assembly of bikes. They have not finalised the dealers even after 8 months have passed since their announcement soliciting dealership inquiries. Their CEO for Indian operations abruptly leaves. Looks like they are in a royal mess. Disappointing to say in the least.

The new exhaust looks weird (according to me). The under seat exhaust looked sweet Ya the link above says 2014
