      • ^^^^ Saw another red one in Malleshwaram....it definitely looks good in the flesh. The rear section is a bit fat though.

            • Impulse hmmmm. let ur impulse take you anywhere you wanna go. This is a segment that I feel should do very well, thinking of our road conditions...... and basically these type of bikes are a lot of fun. But I think for the purpose of some serious fun it needs a better engine.

                • I am in love...

                  Hi Bikers,

This is my first post here, thanks to all those who want me to welcome on board ...

I am fall in love with Impulse from the day I saw her first, Love at first sight. The Impulse bug bite me hard and I am having sleepless nights.

I built a Jeep and done many off roading on that until I sold that off a couple of years ago. I am an adventure freak and even do some soft roading with my present car.

I like the concept of dual purpose bike since my childhood. Thanks to Hero who made this available in India and that too not much over priced. Today itself I spoke with somebody who is a dirt bike rider since years. He has done on/off roading on his new Impulse and recomended me this bike strongly.

I live in desert side of country (western Rajasthan) and there are chances that I might feel this bike underpower in soft sand. However I am going to buy this bike very soon. In case I start hatting the engine too much, there are junk yards to procure more powerful engines from (RX135 or ZMA etc) . Sorry that I still have a Jeeper's mind.

These pictures are from my new dirt biker friend...
Papa always emphasize on making my own path...
                  So I start off-roading... :D

                        • Now this is one proper bike for getting Leh'd. For people who are eyeing the Leh terrain should look no further.

Its really weird to see people opting for streetfighters/sportbikes for an adventure in Leh even after having an option in the form of Impulse which has been tailormade for this purpose. Some might say that it's just a 150cc but then again would you able to use anything more(power) on those terrains?

Leh is just one destination. Maybe most of the touring happens on national highways - inter state. I for one would love to have this for my future leh trip. but to buy it just for that - umm no. i wish i can rent it
