The nimble looks and spoked wheels takes me back to the evergreen 2-stroke periods of my biking years.
Not sure how safe it'd be to assume that this one'd have more torque than its road going counterparts, given that it is sporting offroad rubber... If only they'd have gotten rid of that digital speedo and gave it a nice old school full analog speedo, it would've made my day!______________________________________

good find LP, I saw this bike too, but the thing which disappointed me on looking at it was the thin front shockers, must be like Gladiators front shockers. I dont know how much jerk it can handle. Secondly the monoshock is non-adjustable, and there is a good dip when you sit on the bike. We tourers would like to have something that can atleast handle the saddle bag, tent and sleeping bag weight. Though I am waiting for the machine to be launched and for some xBhpians to ride it and give the review...so lets see

That's what I wanted to say.. LOL..Originally posted by bikerharis View PostI liked the bike, except the Saree guard and "Hero" alone badge.
One can buy and stick Hero Honda sticker over it, or maybe just Honda stickers..
Quite a lot of Indian streets are off-road only.. So, this one is the most practical and sensible bike launched so far in India..Originally posted by L.P. View PostNot everyone gonna use them off road, many will buy to run it on streets only.. :P

Nice pics, really..
Getting back to the topic..... Seems HMC can't really get over with their iconic Street's rear.. BTW, it seems to me at least 4 guys can ride on it easily..
If they are bringing it in competition to Twister it can be good.. but, engine capacity seems higher..sigpic

Don't know how regulations work here.. You find a saree guard in almost every bike sold in sub 250cc segment, it's even installed on many big bore imported bikes.. BUT My RE Bullet 350 Electra (2006) model came without a saree guard. Non of the bikes in any RE showrooms had a saree guards then, recently a friend purchased a Bullet and thing haven't changed in years... It had no saree guard!!

I agree with nitinsen. AFAIK, clasic models come with a saree guard and crash guard, but TBTS and electra don't... One needs to purchase them...
This is what I've been told by the RE showroom guy here in Pune..Originality is the art of hiding your sources...

Appreciate your hard work…I am still waiting for the bike to hit the showrooms….
It reminds me of 90’s movie of Ajay Devgun style.. lets see how much the machine will be successful… it will be more of an eye candy on road… rather then a complete dual purpose supercross…. Waiting for the test ride…A wing rider now....
