Funny that the admin asks others to wait for the pics. All those extra inserts everywhere reminds me of the latest version of cbz-xtreme.Originally posted by payeng View Post
And the only announcement to be made is the price I guess, considering the other features aren't all that new to the apache
I wondered the same thing.Every teaser till now, even the video had the bike flaunting those pilot lamps(except for the footpeg one which made no sense to me as of now)Originally posted by 111diablo111 View PostIt seems like TVS only have pilot lamps to flaunt in this update
It all begins with a thumb-start -- Oh, wait, I forgot the kill-switch

Tell me one manufacturer who says that the bike is oil-cooled and it is not? And please prove it. Its your comment which is foolish not the claims.Originally posted by blitzkreig809 View Posti know that and completely agree with you mate but why weren't TVS onto building a new motorcycle for such a long time. They have a better mentality and don't fool people by calling 'cooled oil' oil cooled. TVS Apache is one hell of a bike and it deserves a proper upgrade. Im just saying that this upgrade should have been planned in a much much better way. Im about to buy a bike and sadly the new apache wont be on my list......i SO wanted it to be.
:/
I didn't wanted to say it but it is TVS which showed pilot lamps like Dual headlamps and cheated its fans. I felt very disappointed on that thing.
Very well said Ivin. Cooled oil & 'oil hot' analogy was superbOriginally posted by Ivin View PostWhich company is fooling like that?
Cooled oil is not called 'oil hot' anyway.
on-topic- TVS just disappointed everyone..
Its me who said that and yes Bajaj were guilty before when the P150, P180, P200 looked the same. But now they have corrected it quite cleanly. P200 stopped. P180 might be soon stopped as speculated. p150, p200ns, p220F,p135ls all are quite distinct models and have good variety in the pulsar range itself. But all apache look more or less the same and I am not able to distinguish them by the stickers or colors.Originally posted by neil.jericho View PostGuys, the cycle repeats again. News of a 'new' bike launch hits the online portals, everyone goes ga-ga with their expectations and then when the final product hits the market, there is massive disappointment all around. For a company like TVS, the investment in R&D for a brand new (reengineered) performance bike is going to be massive. Do a quick cost comparison on the volumes they can generate and the profit off each bike and you will see why a manufacturer like TVS has to milk each platform for all its worth. Someone posted about the different Apache's looking the same. Well with the 150, 180, 200 and 220 Bajaj was even more guilty of this, werent they? The world didnt end at that time, did it?
Ok I understand your disappointment but why show hatred towards another manufacturer (Bajaj) if you are disappointed? Isn't that unjust towards Bajaj? Isn't Bajaj "the" manufacturer which always came up with new models, good useful technologies and always had its fans happy. Isn't it true that Bajaj makes the move and TVS follows the path? I am not a blind fanboy of Bajaj but honestly what they did and launched is completely unmatchable by other Indian manufacturers.Originally posted by blitzkreig809 View Posti'm so angry right now, IMHO apaches are much much better than pulsars in build quality and overall experience. TVS just blew up a golden chance to finish P200NS before it's even out. TVs please do something concrete substantial. I don't like BAJAJ but see they are bringing KTM and KAwasaki to the country, Please be the TVS you were at the time of launching the RTR's. Bring something new to the table, don't treat upgrades the Hero Honda way (plastics and stickers).Last edited by Enthusiastic; 04-19-2012, 10:51 PM.Whats there in a signature?
