        i m frm vijayawada ..ap
        here the first lot are just 4 bikes..i m the 3rd person to book it..they are saying that i will be in the first lot as per their calculation ..lets see

          Today morning my friend got his KTM Duke 200 delivered to him in Pune. He had booked it early morning on day 1, the bookings opened.

          As per his plans, he would be riding to Goa and get his bike's 1st servicing done there.

          What about other people who have booked their KTM's in Pune?

            1. try talking to the Bajaj showroom of your city and tell them you want a probiking exclusive bike in your city. They should oblige for your request,
            OR
            2. try getting it from Trivandrum or Kochi, wherever a Probiking showrooms exists.

            Service may be a problem, but you can keep slightly longer intervals, or get someone from Probiking to handle the service in your city for their conveyance and service charge.


            @ The Top Speed issue: Guys, please wait before confirming the top end as 140. I think it might be more... Just one youtube vid isn't enough proof.

                Got a call from KTM South Delhi (Vasant Kunj) saying that the bikes are still in PDI and there is no information about delivery.
                Initially it was informed that the delivery would be made tomorrow, i.e., Friday, 24 Feb. They also said that Mr. Gaurav Bagga (owner of the dealerships) wanted to hand over the bikes himself so, information on the delivery date will be given tomorrow.

                This is getting to be a ridiculously long and excruciating wait.

                  Top end is 138kmph @ 10.5k RPM in 6th. Speed is limited by RPM. Top end does not increase untill bajaj increases cut off or we change the sprockets.

                    actually the vedio starts when the bike is around 79kmph
                    and the rider normally/slowly accelecrated it 80 to 138(top speed) in some 60 seconds

                        Cant evaluate any of this. Rider seems to be too soft on throttle. Except one time. he pins it when in 5th gear. bike reaches from 100 to 120 in ~5 secs I guess.
                        Seems to be hitting the rev limitar at 138 quite easily.

                          The video clearly shows the bike hitting the revv limiter in 6th gear with the console showing 138, what else proof do you need, if only the so called 11500 rpm revv limit is true, than may be the bike might hit 145+.

                          By the way I am fine with 138

                            Just saw the video. The bike pulls cleanly from 100-120km/hr(in about 5 seconds). But i found the bike hitting revlimiter in 6th quite weird, wouldnt that rob off the fun while blasting down the highway where you would be forced to keep a check on the revs so as to prevent the hiccups!!

                            Also going by the video, i think the bike has 100% speedo accuracy as the bike hits exactly till the claimed speeds.

                              But how does the topend even matter when its something that wont be tested much.. Its stable at 120 and thats more than enough good news to those who want to cruise..
