The highest selling 250 in India probably? Can we take it that way? But certainly that doesn't mean "IS NOT DOING WELL" does it?Originally posted by MG View PostSkill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

At least in Trivandrum, supply is not meeting the demand. New bikes are simply not coming to the showrooms. May be a 2013 model is due with new color options.Originally posted by aargee View PostThe highest selling 250 in India probably? Can we take it that way? No no, that's not the case; even in Chennai ABS has about 45+ days waiting period though STD is available sometimes over the shelf. Not sure on what factors those depend uponOriginally posted by mid View PostMay be a 2013 model is due with new color options.

Honda had huge expectation from CBR250 and they were expecting that it will do 2000units per month and initially it did very good numbers but from the last 8months or so CBR250 is roughly selling between 200-400units whereas R15 is selling ~3000units per month. Now you yourself decide whether its doing well or notOriginally posted by aargee View PostThe highest selling 250 in India probably? Can we take it that way? You've probably read the news on zigwheels or autocar!Originally posted by ABikerAtHeart View PostI have a strong feeling that there is NO new Ninja 250.
That tmc blog was hoax or chalked by a misunderstood author.
The new Ninja is infact the 300..
You can tell this to the hundreds of Ninja 250 owners in Indonesia
The Ninja 250 is already on the roads out there!
And like i've posted before, the 250 is for Asian markets (hence, an Asian launch) and the 300 is for Europe & North America (hence, a European launch)!

As always the step-motherly treatment to us Indians.Originally posted by blizviz View PostYou've probably read the news on zigwheels or autocar!

Forget 300,400 Kawasaki, get the 636 ZXR here! Nuff said!

i dont think it's a "step-motherly" treatment! Different markets have different priorities!Originally posted by nitrosatya View PostAs always the step-motherly treatment to us Indians.

Case in point, the Ducati 795 & 796. 795 was exclusively launched for Asia, due to cost factors. Now, you can't say Ducati was being a step mother for launching a "low-cost" alternative. But, at a lower price, more people are now able to enjoy a bike from an iconic factory!
Same case with the 250. I'm sure kawasaki will not compromise anything with the 250 (and they haven't!). At the given price point, many people in Asian countries are able to enjoy a Ninja!
Even the 250 has been the best selling bike in it's class for more than a decade! So, it speaks volumes about the bike itself!

The Kawasaki Japan website says it all. They have got both the bikes (Ninja 250 and 300) in the lineup.

Still, some indian "media" are saying that the 250 does not exist and feeding wrong information to Indian bikers! Very very sad

Just because India was getting the Euro spec Ninja, does not guarantee that we will get it again.Originally posted by bprags View PostHad sent a mail to Kawasaki UK office, they have confirmed that they will be getting the Ninja 300 in October and 250 will be discontinued. So hopefully we should be getting the 300 too.

For example, the 2012 Ninja 250R in the USA had the same spec as the Ninja sold in some parts of Asia. But now, its getting the new Ninja 300.
So, let's not keep our hopes high. (Higher hopes = bigger disappointments!)

Well here it is: Indonesia gets 2013 Ninja 250, Ninja 300 for UK. What for India? [Ninja 300: Video] | Bike Chronicles of IndiaOriginally posted by Boon View PostWhy no reply from Payeng bhai yet?? And look at those Zigwheels guys.Seems like they are smoking weeds for too much.
Kawasaki confirms it, it's a Ninja 300! Page - 1| ZigWheels.com
>> Indonesia gets the 2013 Ninja 250
>> In Australia, Canada, UK and probably US the Ninja 300 will replace the Ninja 250
P.S: Its Ninja 250/300 and the "R" tag has been dropped. Good this as the "R" tag is being abused too much these days
