Nope Dude!! I don't see this in India at all, Becuase even this small performance bikes for a price higher than normal commuting ones. If this would have been the case then surelt there would have been many R15 and CBRs on road rather than P150/Twister/Shine/P220 etc...

But for now, as like everyone else, we must sit and watch what unfolds.

I hope for this!! But don't know what Yamaha is planning ?? If Yamaha launches a 250 cc with less power then it should be just becuase of fuel effeciency then it would be a cut off for bikers like me!!! Who think over power and performance!!

we can expect similar sound as this is CB500 twin and compression ratio is similar to what is expected on CBR500R.. the twin has a off 215 dig firing order which will have interleaving sound which may not be as good as other P2 engines which is mainly for FE

Everybody need that 100- 170 HP on rear wheel ?

Actually I cannot understand this at all. What we will do with those 170/100 Hp at wheel here on our streets? Yes fine for a short weekend blast at max. We don't have many tracks. How many of those asking for super sport are going to track as well . bet less than 20 per cent. How many can buy and maintain one without papas cash?

For people like me N650 and its may be its 50 HP on wheels is more than enough for some years.

Going by latest trend on XBHP I may be kicked out for shouting this by some users. some don't like somebody expressing their observations. They want everybody else to be muted. (I am not talking about the official team here)
ok for those. What I am saying is all my opinion. If you don't like them. I may be wrong for you.thats ok.

              71Bhp and I take offence :P
              Do I use them. Yeah
Do I think I could use a bit more. Hell Yeah
Can I use it everyday. No

Just like thy manhood. Have it. Can use it but doesnt mean I keep using it all day all night all the time

And yes I agree. The lust for CC's and Bhps is a purely emotional than rational.

My ideal garage would rather hold a sub 1000CC machine that can go touring
A sub 500cc machine that I can use for mad fun
A sub 300cc machine for everyday blasts!

Above statements are perfect when its about 71. When its about 190, It will make a big difference in terms of usability, maintainability etc. Especially for those who earn less and thinks 170+ HP is a big thing for a 175 Kg bike.

One who is already having enough Luke warm stuff in garage (sport- 400-650 or may be more, definitely not very hot for big boys) can buy a super sport for that fun. But is our market ready for that. More people will look at a 5.6 L N650 than a higher ZX 6R, or else The ZX line would have came already. I cant still believe that everybody screaming for super-sport already have those decently big sport bikes. Its my bad, I was just looking at the world with relatively outdated pair of eyes of an Average Indian. Sorry for that. Let the biggies come. By the time Let me do some hard-work so that I can afford a smaller one

front looks similar to the 1000rr but the rear looks elongated and quite outdated, especially the chrome silencer.
                        personal opinion..no offence to anyone.

The first pics that air'd were cool but the latest, the more i look at it, its kinda becoming an eye sore. Yes Honda make more practical bikes but this one aesthetically not appealing(which is also very important). Hope the naked version'll look good.

This is the same old CB500 with liquid cooling and wont have 55 - 60bhp(CB500R) as the old one.. 45 to 50bhp or 47 Euro lic standard max as engine is tuned for better FE.. may be a everyday bike and weekend tourer which can keep up with 600 and 1000 as most touring group maintain 160 on bigger bikes..

front look is really ugly.. Yak...

only good thing is calmed FE 27km/l :/

Except the twin cylinder aspect, everything else is a thumbs down.

Unappealing design. Wonder why someone would choose this over the ER6 duo (or trio, if you count the Versys 650), even if the Honda will be cheaper!
