Localization of parts for the N300 is around 10%. Headlamps, tail lamps and switches are localised. Plans to expand Indian parts sourcing not only for N300 but also for other Kawasaki models for EU/US markets.
Currently the 1+ Lakh category of motorcycles is the fastest growing segment in the Indian Market.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

don't know why but I feel the pricing is a bit steep, here in Ahmedabad it will end-up being over 4L OTR, people would prefer other offerings.
A Ninja is a Ninja no doubt about that, no questioning the quality and all but still if they bring it CKD and reduce the price they can surely capture a much larger market share.
Ninja and Duke are completely different bikes and should in all practicality cater to different segments / customer tastes.
Anyhow this is what we are getting, atleast we did not endup getting the 250

Seriously, how much would it cost to include ABS as a standard fitting, at least on premium bikes? Would it spike the OTR by 15k, 20k? Someone willing to spend 4L on the bike wouldn't want to shell out 20k extra for a critical, possibly life-saving, safety feature? I'm somehow not able to buy the 'ABS-would-increase-the-cost' argument on premium bikes.
Oh, btw, goes without saying, the bike's a mean-looking machine!
