I personally am a fan of black color on motorcycles. I get that special attraction towards them that I get towards no other color and I know of many such peopleOriginally posted by bbsrailfan View PostIMO white looks better...and coming to look at it...the Ninja's brakes have always been sharp with much better bite....
The black looks great and so does the white...
Again, talking about the braking, I've heard that the Ninjette has the best braking in its class, but ABS would have only made it better. Moreover, it's better to have such a nice safety feature at 25-30K extra when one is already paying close to 4L for the bike.
Ninja 250R sold in India had FI. Also, Ninja 300 Special Edition with ABS is being sold in the First World Countries. But I know, what you're talking about.Originally posted by Hackdrag View PostOld Ninja had Neither ABS or Fi. But it had a charisma.

Superb clicks there!! It looks even better
I am sure people will be confused.. Green or White!!
Btw to all those speculating ABS costs, it costs $500+ in US so add the duties, state taxes etc & do the math!!
But why isnt it optional?? Will the assembly line change so much for adding ABS??

Really? It revs to 13000 rpm? O_O
Edit : I'm not too thrilled by the 290mm 2-pot caliper brakes though.
By comparison, the 40kg lighter Duke 390 will come with 300mm 4-pot brembo (although desi brembo aka ByBre) brakes AND it will have ABS.Last edited by dishayu; 04-10-2013, 09:10 PM.Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

Not just that it revs till 13000, even at 14500rpm there are no vibrations at all (This was in Ninja 250R).Originally posted by dishayu View PostReally? It revs to 13000 rpm? O_O
By this statement I am assuming you never rode a Ninja or else you wouldnt have posted this!!Originally posted by dishayu View PostEdit : I'm not too thrilled by the 290mm 2-pot caliper brakes though.

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Well, well, well... 500 bikes already up for grabs!!! So majority of us will get our bikes by 2nd week of May...
... Awesome...
Can anyone confirm the following:
1) Ex-showroom price Mumbai (the guys at KTM told me to call tomorrow for a definite quote!!!)
2) Whether KTM is allowing test rides? Well, atleast to ones who have booked her
