In India, we have always had FI Ninja 250 (same as Euro spec). The carb version sold in USA.

Looks heavenly in White. But for those shelling out more than 4L for a N300, like here in Bangalore, I guess the 650 makes a little more sense...Ah, blame our tax structure

Don't say that, there are people out here who are ready to shell out 4 lakhs or more for this bike. . . Why go that far for a Ninja 650 when we can get a better bike, the HONDA CBR500 series which is just few months away from it's release (as read in many sites). . . It would be a better option than this Ninja with more power, more CC, three variants (street, sports and tourer) which I think is better compared than this 300(just a sports tourer). . .

A typical Maruti Suzuki / Hyundai showroom does much higher no. of vehicles per day than the no.s expected per day from a typical KTM/Kawasaki dealership (including all bikes i.e. Dukes 200/390, Ninjas 300/650). I think they should be able to manage.

the market you see out there is smart now a days , its not the olden times, the sales will vary a lot and the price distribution is far apart., but well two of them are of own in their classes.

Ninja 650 is around Rs 5.8 approx OTR in mumbai. Mumbai owners can confirm.
So if Ninja 650 is to be thought then one has to think about following:
                          1. Dimensions of the bike, Ninja 650 is bigger in size than Ninja 300, which means height limitation some where for people.
                          2. 1.8L extra money.

Most of the people are thinking Ninja 300 is too much priced, so shelling more 1.8L would be a hard task.

Some where I feel Ninja 650 and Ninja 300 comes in different category, One is sports bike and other is Sports tourer.
So choosing segment of people are also different.

God knows when will these models be launched in India?
These are dreams currently in India.

And how long to weight for buying it ?? Where as Ninja 300 and Ninja 650 are available!

                                hope this clears it

The U.S. -J model uses dual carburetors like the -F model, but the European, Brazilian and Thai models have fuel injection.
