re: HD Cruiser Spied in Gurgaon: xBhp News

From the quality of the exhaust, which does look shabby and unfinished compared to the rest of the bike id say this is a Hyosung

Hyosung and Bajaj testing bikes should have MH number plate. Yamaha have UP 15 on their number plates. Not sure where Harley is based but Honda and Hero are based in Haryana

So this could be a possible Honda?? well.. I am not sure why Harley is testing their bike here in India.. they don't have a manufacturing unit in India AFAIK.. they only have a assembling unit here.. as mentioned previously..

whatever it is.. its definitely not gonna be cheap looking at that V-Twin engine...

Its got the looks of a HD, esp those rectangular reflectors on the front fork and the engine heads. As for the radiator point, the HD NightRODs & the V-RODs have radiators. They could be launching a new model for all we know. The investment they'd have to make compared to the potential market here might just be worth it. Besides HD is all about custom motorcycles, hence a Belt side swap is not that much of a big deal for these guys. Developing an engine from scratch, now that's what I'd call a huge investment.

Bajaj too has a poor quality exhaust

Looking at the size of the tire and the quality of the exhaust.. i would guess it to be a new Eliminator with V Twin Engine.. or an Avenger..

Impossible to read the KTM on it. Whatever is written may however have nothing to do with the bike as the other rider has a completely different bag altogether. So, it must be a random rider personal.

The tyres are smaller than what HD offers on bigger bikes. But since this could well be a 500 or lesser cc machine, HD would most naturally reduce their tyre size right.

you sound logically correct.. but when KTM is offering a bigger tire profile for a 200cc bike.. I guess HD too won't reduce the tire profile atleast not by this much difference.. I know I don't sound logically correct... just my theory/opinion

Yes.. you are right.. they can surprise us.. but if at all.. it will be from Kawasaki and not from Bajaj.. reason.. why would Kawasaki not launch a V Twin and why will they give their technology to bajaj?? I am thinking its going to be an Eliminator if at all from Kawasaki/Bajaj

I really doubt that a 220cc motorcycle is getting upgraded to a bigger v twin. It seems really impractical.

                                My Point of View,

If this is a Kawa or a Bajaj why test is in Haryana and not in Pune (MH)

If this is a Hyosung again it should be MH again.

Forget the bags that as someone said previously could well just be a rider's personal choice.

Now coming to HD, they have already mentioned officially that they are planning a Sub 500CC sub 4 Lac bike for India and other developing countries. So if HD is making this bike in India it makes a lot of sense.

Now for the Saree gaurd on 2 sides, thats a bit tricky, it could well be to enable saddle bags or boxes to be mounted easily, or could well be that it will be exported to other countries with LHD norms (Thats a wild guess)
