The Indian Motorcycle launch is more than 6 months away and they are launching their All New Chief which is a 1100+cc motorcycle. Im just taking a huge gamble by saying they may launch these smaller cruisers along with it for market impact

RE isn't such a great bike if you ask me.. yes.. a very minute change but what have they done to stop the vibrations on that bike?? anyways.. this is going off the topic..

lets not discuss about it here..

so any new findings on this spied bike?? like you said.. it possibly can be from Honda..

With everyone shooting into the dark, I too have a few arrows in my quiver.

This is a close to production mule by none other than our very own ‘Royal Enfield’. They were really tired of taking the shit on every biking forum about their pre historic Bull. There is more technology on this bull than meets one’s eyes. One cylinder runs on petrol for all the petrol head power crazy guys and the other, wait for it, runs on diesel for the average conscious, ‘Kitna dati hai’ guy.
Royal Enfield has one more ace up its sleeves. They have been watching us bikers squabble and bicker over the price of every product launched in India. Every biker worth his salt knows the value of the product more than the factory personal itself. So to please all, potential buyers will be allowed to pay whatever he/she feels this marvel of technology is worth.

I have more insider information about this bike…but you fellows will have to wait till I get my next quota of beers.

P.S. This post was written while gulping a couple of beers and what-not in a lazy boss free office hrs. If any of you are offended, I advise you to douse a pint and then you might see the above post in new light.

Ok.. now this is what I found.. Harley Davidson V-Rod.. looks like its got the same kinda Vtwin and exhaust from the head..

could it be the smaller version of the V-Rod?? and the V-Rod has got the rear disc on the right hand side similar to what we see in the spied pic..

the fork is of course smaller and not the upside down type.. but the reflector on the fork looks similar too..

but somehow i think its going to be Honda...coz of the engine...they have it alreday...no new development cost required........maybe the bike will have a prefix of VT badge from the VT series.!!!

Now i too have got a feel that its gonna be a honda.. look at the foot rest pegs from the pics you have posted and the spy pic.. sitting posture seems to be similar but body has been changed.. lets see who is gonna surprise us..

I work in India's one of the biggest car manufacturing company.

I don't know how many of you will trust me but here's what i know-

1. Harley Davidson India just installed Press machine in their Bawal (Haryana) plant. This machine is used for manufacturing tanks & fenders (mud guards). I got this information from some workers and contractors who worked in the installation of that press machine in HD.

2. HD had carryed out negotiations with many Indian vendors (big market players) for local manufacturing of parts for some new project.

3. HD is planning to launch their Budget HD by the end of 2nd qt of this financial year.

We get all the updates from different source in industry. And trust me all of our sources are very reliable.

As far as bike in the bike in these images are concerned, I personally feel that these are HD.

Even I felt it could be a HD.. but after comparing few pics and seeing the sitting posture.. I am confused with the Honda now.. and wow.. awesome piece of information from you sir

Just to clear confusion - these bikes were spotted on Faridabad - Gurgaon expressway.

Escorts Yamaha factory is in Faridabad where they make tractors only & their bike manufacturing unit is in Greater Noida, UP.
Yamaha test bikes have UP16/ UP14 temp.
As I said early HR 99 is Faridabad/ Gurgaon temp registration number.

Harley Davidson has their Head office in Gurgaon & assembling factory in Bawal,Haryana.

whichever bike these are.. they are looking really good..

just the company ( most probably HD, Honda or Yamaha) should keep the pricing aggressive and they have a sure winner at their hands

The bling chrome is lacking. HD's are famous for the bling chrome chrome everywhere. The typical HD indicators are missing, single exhaust (no dual exhaust), the tank seems more similar to the avenger, tail lights like that of RE TB.

Will HD make so many changes to bring the model into the required price bracket?
