re: KTM Duke 390 Launched in India at Rs 1.8 Lakhs: xBhp News
Don't be so prejudistic about people. Atleast you could read my original question which started the thread of replies. Maybe you read only xbhp comments, I read all over the internet, some people saying its just the red led and some saying an actual rev limiter. I was just curious to know the truth and created an account to ask the actual owners. I wanted to know whether its something depending on your dealer/service center or the rev limiter doesn't exist at all. But like every other forums, here also I see people pounding upon each other to prove their superiority, instead of actually trying to answer the question. I am expecting another reply of that same manner. Waiting...Originally posted by Doga View Post

Eagerly waiting fo the XBHP review until I get my hands on the beauty. I was desperate to book the bike on 25th itself but could not. Booked it the next day, 26th, early in the morning at KTM Banjara Hills. No. 7 on the list
A lot of people seem to dislike the Orange wheels. But somehow I feel that they and the orange frame give the bike Character. True to the orange theme as well. Optional black wheels would have been better. But the logistics issue may have deterred KTM
now that is some impulse man.Originally posted by Cyrus_the_virus View PostMine was apparently the 3rd booking at KTM Hyderbad - Banjara Hills Branch.
This is probably my most expensive "impulse" buy
I am desperately in need of wheels so I asked them for immediate delivery with full payment upfront. But they were not sure when the first lot will arrive so the wait continuesOriginally posted by Rohit.nagamalla View PostA good news which i have is that I have booked my Duke390 and the booking number is "1", yes, i am the first person to book D390 in Banjara hills showroom in Hyderabad.
So is anyone on this thread who is expecting the delivery in the first week of July?
Currently passing time reading all the posts concerning the bike

I seriously do not think so!! Rajiv Bajaj clearly claimed that it will come with Metzelers & did not mention anything else related, otherwise. Dealers are sometimes crazyOriginally posted by prankie View PostDuke 390 OTR Price Bhopal (MP) is Rs. 205741/-
Dealers here are saying that Metzelers will be offered as default tyres only on introductory bikes?? Any idea??

Booked my D390 a couple of hours ago at KTM Trivandrum. So far only 18 bookings have been done here.
No Test drive! No demo bike!
Those will be available only next week they said. They don't even have the on road price yet. It might come up to Rs. 2.06 according to them.

My friend genxt, I was not prejudiced there! I just expressed my displeasure. Can't I do that ? I think if you sift through the pages here in this forum, you wont find too many instances of myself involved in any kind of brand bashing/inane arguments/bile. Not sure why you'd use such a strong word here! btw when you judge me as prejudiced I feel you are too.Originally posted by genxt View PostDon't be so prejudistic about people. If you go through the duke 200 thread with a bit of diligence you'll realize that it has 99% of the info on the bike. The rev limiter question is very common and frankly its plain frustrating to see it crop up every other page! I understand new users would invariably ask questions here which are very trivial but a little bit of searching around doesnt hurt, does it ?
Also did you notice that my reply did not quote your post ? I deliberately avoided that to be overtly offending, and frankly it was not meant for you at all, but I think some people have very big egos. The hero always RIDES into the sunset!
