It's the RC200. Look at those MRF REVZ tyres. The 390 has metzelers

Buddy the tank just looks bigger. It is actually 0.5 liter less than the duke 390

Yep.. Seen them. FYI they were clicked in Nigdi, Pune just a stones throw from where I used to live. I had even seen the rc390 on the road, but couldn't take pics as my phone had died

Here's a video of the race spec RC.
The video is crappy though and nothing in the console is visible.

Ceteris paribus, Yes. But the racing pieces would be much more performance tuned than the production version! (exhaust, weight (no lights), engine tuning etc) , the racing bikes have to last only a few races before the engine is rebuilt!. So at best I would imagine it should match the top speed these racing versions are putting up.

the ADAC junior cup has started n the bikes r hittin 180 with around 39 bhp. so can we expct a slightly better top speed wid 44 bhp?

Good thing is if they are selling it cheap , we can have cheaper replacements after a fall!

Right. Not integrating mirrors can be a positive thing too as the chances of the indicators on the mirrors getting damaged due to the 'rats' trying to get into every single hole in the traffic is very high in the bigger cities

Good points there and thanks for giving a feedback based on track riding.

I took a test ride of the Duke 390 because i am considering the RC 390 which has the same engine (tuned differently - not sure how much of difference that will make).
My biggest disappointment was the engine. It didn't make sense to me. It can't be ridden in the low end at all, very vibey in certain places in the rev range, awful exhaust note (ok for a dirt bike perhaps), power band felt strong and linear once into the mid range and past it...i don't know...in the engine department for track/sport riding the Ninja 300 is miles ahead. Everything else is great: fresh styling, lightweight, fantastic tires.
