    Now that they've raised the prices so I think we can expect the announcement in the coming weeks IF what we heard is true. The absence of spy pics is worrying me also. Where are you pulsebass? You promised to post some pics.

        @pulsebass was last seen online on the 30th of September. Where has he vanished? Many doubts are cropping up in my mind. The companies inform the media about a launch a couple of weeks before the planned date right? Bajaj should take a leaf out of TVS's book. The way they market their bikes and the pre-launch teasers etc are brilliant.

          I read somewhere that bikes like the RC200 and RC390 are coming our way but I think Bajaj will launch a 200 SS because that single project has the potential of earning them more profit than the RC200 and RC390 projects put together. People jump up and down when they hear 'sports bike' or high cc bikes, but how many are actually going to buy one? And I believe that's actually the reason behind the Pulsar's success; affordable performance.
          The P375 is an an ambitious project but I doubt its chances of being a successful one. How many will spend that much money to get a Bajaj Pulsar?!
          I really hope what 'pulsebass' saw was the 200 SS.
          Would you buy it if they name it something fancy?? Say GSX375, VXZ375, RXZ375 etc etc?? C'mon, BAL is just naming it as Pulsar 375 to keep it in the same family instead of starting a whole new breed... I hope it has nothing to do with Pulsar...

            I was talking about Bajaj's brand image. Many would hesitate to buy a 375cc Bajaj bike unless it offers some serious value for money. But having said that, I'm sure that it would be more appealing to many potential buyers if they give it a new name. What about Bajaj 375 Grand Tourer(GT) ?

              BAL has evolved from producing scooters ( Priya, Chetak etc.) to 100cc motorcycles ( CT100, Boxer, 4S Champion, Caliber, Discover) to 150-180-200-220 (Pulsars).... They have a very very good hold on the market when it comes to VFM products and have a very good brand image my friend...Bajaj even export their bikes to different countries and have potential buyers over there. Surely people will think twice-thrice before spending 1.5-1.8L but hold on, its a 375cc Pulsar mate.. Should be a VFM.

              375GT sounds cool but I prefer 375 ZXR LOL... and have thought of few names and will name her as soon as I buy one...

                    Let's not start another brand war. You just can't put Bajaj in the same league as Yamaha, Honda etc. Our own Maruti Suzuki exports cars to over 100 countries. But does it put Maruti in the league of Ferraris,Beemers etc! NO. Displacement matters, but it ain't the one and only factor.

                    Diwali is only a week away and still no news about the SS. A friend told me that it'll be launched by March 2014 only, though he can't confirm it .

                        Not starting a brand war here. Personally I love the Pulsar name and the name of the 375 block engine should be named under Pulsar brand name.

                        It was just a name came to my mind, if they go out of pulsar name, then they can consider this name
