If this is P375, even better! it's got no competition at all as the only other bike is Duke 390!. I'm sure people will not compare Pulsar with Ninja
Rightly said man....it could be that Bajaj may give a double whammy. But it may be releasing the super sport siblings together.

Like the 200ss and the 375ss. Thats a huge possibility now that we have seen the scoop pics too.

So, what do you want to compare it with?

That's what I was trying to say. If the P375 looks like a modified NS, who would buy it? The rear looks ugly. But having said that, it's difficult to expect a new chassis and completely new design from Bajaj for the 375 alone, and this fact worries me.

If the P375 looks anything like this, I'm sure the KTM RC390 will steal the show and the market. That thing looks extreeemely good. It looks good enough to make people forget about the price tag/difference.

That tyre hugger is there for a purpose, which is saving us from the dirty mud (Especially during the monsoons). And even duke series are having those at their rear. Because the rear mudguard doesn't give any kind of protection from the mud, it will spoil your back while riding.

By watching the picture shared above...it gives me the look as the length of the chassis of the bike is significantly increased. But the fairing of the bikes looks bit small from this angle, as what we have seen in the earlier scoop pictures of P375. Lets wait and watch the final product which comes out.

@raging_bull I doubt that RC390 will steal the show in term of sales. I think P375 will be more successful IN TERMS OF SALES, as it will be priced lower than the KTM's RC390. And in that case maximum number of the people will opt for Pulsar here. (If pulsar turns out be what we saw in those Scoop Images earlier).

Purpose has nothing to do with beauty. I just said it's an eyesore on the NS and IMO not that bad on the Duke.

                            Edit:
If somebody is ready to shell out 2 lakhs for a bike, I'm sure he's going to spend that extra bit of money to get something that is much superior (very likely ) in every aspect. I mean it's not like NS v Duke 200. Bajaj's 'practicality' weapon will be of very little use at higher segments.

There will be exceptions. I mean guys who just want to boast about the 'cc' may opt for the 375. But it's still early days and we don't know how the 375 would look like or about its performance and other aspects.

Yes, I agree with the RC 390 part, that's a beauty. Very tempting.

Tire hugger can be removed(just like how some awesome guys remove RVMS). I found it the other way, Hugger on duke looks uglier, one on 200NS must looks similar to the one Multistrada

We can check this sell-ability aspect like this:

If RC390 is priced at say 2.2-2.3, and P375 at 1.6, both will sell.

We can see that CBR 150 and 250 co-exists.

There is some stretch limits. For instance, somebody planning to buy a 1.2-1.3 L bike (R15,CBR 150) can probably stretch to 1.6 and buy a P375.
Stretching to 2.3 can be a challenge, (yeah may tear himself away).

Another interesting thing is, with RC390 around, P375 will not be a supersport as Bajaj or media call it. It will be more of a tourer, a touring bike with decent power of some 40+HP and 160-170 KMPH top speed , dual projectors nice chassis and suspension bits and a probable ABS is good enough for most. Will prove a better tourer than CBR 250.

[Other bikes mentioned here are for just for marketability comparisons only]

Yep. But do you think Bajaj can really sell the 375 for 1.6L?! Especially if they equip it with ABS and all? My guess is that it'll be priced closer to the Duke 390. The D390 and the P375 can coexist even if the pricing is similar since both bikes cater to different needs. But a P375 ABS for 1.6L will be great VFM but it's very unlikely to happen.
I was talking about the buyers who start with a budget of around 2 lakhs. Such a person is very likely to spend a bit more and get an RC200.

The tyre hugger on the ns looks v.big and most people remove it because it's an eyesore. The tyre hugger doesn't look like an afterthought on the Duke.
