But the wheels looks like they are of 120 spec. Even the guy from Hero(Most probably sales guy) said it to be 120 spec tyreOriginally posted by ryan.virgo View Post2013 Hero ZMR remains unchanged in the aspects of suspension, wheels, fuel tank capacity and brakes.
ZMR definitely looks better than earlier but can't comment of Karizma till the time I see it in flesh

Except for unshared engine specifications, the 2013 Hero ZMR remains unchanged in the aspects of suspension, wheels, fuel tank capacity and brakes.

Karizma R!
Is Hero outsourcing design from China? Looks like a street modified bike.
May be this is a limited edition to boost or revive used karizma market.
I will say thse kind of designs great if launched in 1970 this is 2013 dear Hero.
Hero Moto should understand that the bike Karizma have big following and good status among bikers in India before fabricating things like this.
Or atleast, looks at some other bikes selling in market.
All this time they just managed to mold a 5 year old pulsar kind of badge for xtreme.
THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM THINKING, HERO SHOULD RATHER STICK WITH THEIR VINYL BUSINESS, ABS SEEMS A TOUGH JOB!!!.

This one looks like the 2007-2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R though.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostIts a ZMR bro, it has to look like Busa.
The side profile is quite "inspired" from the 2007-2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R.
But new ZMR is better looking than the Original which was totally out of place and proportions.

the fairing does look good and I am loving it.. waiting to see it in flesh and then get the quotes on how much it would cost to get it fitted if possible..
any idea about the weight?? I am guessing it would have reduced atleast by 5kgs seeing less plastic compared to the older version and the side indicators in front is the only mess they made.. IMO... otherwise the bike looks good and I am waiting for the specs..
the alloys seem to be taken from the Ignitor (17") lets see what they hold for the customers

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR 2013 unveiled at Macau: xBhp News
The design of the headlamp assembly on the ZMR is not even a tiny fraction of how well the EBR assembly is designed.
Look closely at the 1190 headlamp assembly - there is one 'jeweled' projector sitting on the apex of the nose. The upper projector sits inside a smoked carbon housing and is concealed by the extremely well-integrated windscreen - it's almost invisible when viewed from a quarter-angle. The indicators are very neatly integrated into the RVMs. There's no comparing this exquisitely crafted machine to the crappy design we are getting. Even the phrase "inspired by 1190RS" should make the EBR designer team hang themselves in shame.
The rear fender assembly looks like it will fall off at the slightest hint of bad roads. HMC could have given us a set of Body-integrated lights (like the Old ZMR) and a tire-hugger - that would have looked way hotter IMO.Originally posted by ryan.virgo View Post

Are you sure this seat will be compatible with the Ceeber? If so then I will be the first person to throw the stock CBR rear seat out into the dumpyard and fit these seats!Originally posted by pitbull View PostRear seat.... hmm, I am going to steal this rear 'new' seat and fit it on my CBR250R to increase comfort! Atleast this seat is wide and Hero is known to make comfortable seats.Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

True. But I wonder what's stopping them from giving a bigger tank. This one's so flat that crouching is a PITA.Originally posted by payeng View PostBut new ZMR is better looking than the Original which was totally out of place and proportions.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

We will have to wait for the Bike to come out in flesh so that we can identify what else we can fit directlyOriginally posted by antan_shank View PostThanks for better snaps, the bike looks better than before... Divya Sharan has a sense of feeling that visor is a direct fit and the fairing too.. since the Speedo console is same, the fairing could be a direct fit

Mainly Cost.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostTrue. But I wonder what's stopping them from giving a bigger tank. This one's so flat that crouching is a PITA.
Designing and producing a new Tank is costly. Apart from designing and testing there are huge costs involved in the form of getting new stamping dies to manufacture the new tank.

Alright now, it does look convincing IMHO but don't you guys think, Hero could have done with a monoshock?!! A killer from their stable. Any specific reasons for sticking to dual shocks?, maybe I have missed something in the thread??BENEATH THE REMAINS.........

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR 2013 unveiled at Macau: xBhp News
Sadly, I'd counter my own claim. The visor won't fit our bikes. Though the bottom part is similar in design, the lines up top run almost parallel to each other whereas our visors spread out. Need to check for the fairing though. I'm happy with my bike's fairings though, I just need a damn visor!Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostWe will have to wait for the Bike to come out in flesh so that we can identify what else we can fit directly

Might give it a thought the next time I change the sprockets
do you think its gonna be the same 13T front and 40T rear??
well.. we will think of something if they are not a direct fitOriginally posted by Divya Sharan View PostSadly, I'd counter my own claim. The visor won't fit our bikes. at the end, we are Indians
we will think of some Jugaad to get it fixed.. Don't worry mate.. Cheer up..
I am actually happy with the fairing and the visor.. but my visor got a crack and the fairing vibrating.. they need a change so I thought I can get the new ones fixed
Yippee if it is a direct fit.. else I will get the stock
