Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
brother let the product come in my hand then i can only suggest what you can do to upgrade the power to these outputs. i have a ZMA in which i use complete synthetic oil 15w50 and iridium spark plugs, hid light kit, in it with chain lube and cleaner for drive chain. and i am very happy with the performance of my bike. may you can try some of these at the moment. will let you know if i get more details.....Originally posted by rreneav1987 View Post

thanks brother for appreciating the pics i had uploaded i had at first place jumped in to the forum to clear doubts of other friends as just from 1 picture clicked by someone every one was so negative about the bike but the reason i had seen it in flesh instigated me to try and change the opinion. and let the brain storming keep on going you would definitely like to see the bike first and them decide to stick with extreme or upgrade. what ever you do best of luck........Originally posted by sibun View PostLast edited by gagan_rocky; 10-01-2013, 04:01 PM.BIKES MAN'S BEST CREATION

Re: Hero Karizma ZMR 2013 unveiled at Macau: xBhp News
IMO I think hero stayed with the dual shocks as, from the looks of it they haven't done any changes to the chassis and swingarm hence its just easier to plonk in the existing setup, plus why bother to change something that's already doing a great jobOriginally posted by chaosaddict View PostAlright now, it does look convincing IMHO but don't you guys think, Hero could have done with a monoshock?!! A killer from their stable. Any specific reasons for sticking to dual shocks?, maybe I have missed something in the thread??
... yes the monshocks would give a killer look but clearly aesthetic appeal is not one of hero's priorities... well anyways all this is just my opinion

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Its not going to be a catchy looker like R15V2, but it would be decent on the road. Functionally, it would be a great tourer with very good features. Also, it looks much better than the current ZMR.Originally posted by rreneav1987Very True..
So how do you like the bike now?? the New ZMR.. after the decent pics... I am sure the bike is gonna be better in flesh..Last edited by ravi@17bhp; 10-01-2013, 07:55 PM.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
I will be getting my Cbr150r day after tomorrow, I am wondering if I was bit hasty and should have waited a few months. I do love Cbr150r, I think it looks stunning, is fun to drive and offers good practicality. But if this Karizma delivers the same FE with more power and lesser cost, I might have taken this. But Cbr150r looks infinitely better and will most probably last longer than Karizma, courtesy of being a Honda. Let's wait and watch.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Honda Unicorn lasts longer than Hunk or CBZ xtreme, even though they are the same engine, and is more refined too. At least that's what I inferred from months or lurking on threads of bikes all the way from CB Trigger/Hunk/Xtreme to Duke200. Also, Hero has to stop using Honda's tech right? Can they introduce a model which uses Honda tech and keep it in production after the deadline? What's the deadline, December 2013?

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Almost every bike lasts 5 years, my Pulsar200 DTSi's engine is still good, doesn't make Bajaj more reliable. :P
From what I have read, Unicorn's engine ages slightly better than Hunk's or Xtreme's. This is basically what I have read, no personal experience here, but personal experience of others. I hope someone else can shed some light on that question(Will Hero have to stop production of models that use Honda's tech after the deadline and what is the deadline, dec 2013?). Anyways, I have to live with my baby blade for a long time now, and I will, I do love it. But yeah, if this Karizma turns out to be as competent as Cbr, it will pinch a bit. Also, Cbr is DOHC, that should prolong the engine's life. That is what others say, including some mechanical engineers I know, no personal technical knowledge though. :P
Although, I hope Karizma does well, it'll mean more competition and less complacency, better products for us.Last edited by Akash Makkar; 10-01-2013, 10:07 PM.

Re: Hero Honda Karizma ZMR
Even though the upcoming model has the same 223cc mill from Honda, it would be in a different state of tune, if EBR worked on it for more power. It would be a different engine now and we can't take it for granted that it would be as reliable as before. We need to wait and see. Because the block is from Honda, hopefully it would be reliable.
