I was worried when the spy pictures showed the new ZMR to seem sexy with the split seats and raised proportion and all but now am Happy no more regrets or worries

That is an ugly silencer and those wheels are too skinny. Will hero ever have a decent looking bike?

Well, they killed it! Long live the Honda Karizma. Still no FI, same tank, way too long, same rubber, forks etc etc. RIP legend.
May be they will continue the sales of the old Karizma too just like how TVS Apache is selling its Hyper edge retro models

So people should not express their opinion that its ugly? That doesn't change the fact that Hero makes the most terrible looking bikes in India.

                My speculation alone

It would be a little better if they remove the rev limiter and add a 6th Gear with a little tuning to the ECU making the top end of the bike around 150~

Am not really sure if this directed at me as there seems to be no quote. I shall proceed with assumption that it is.

My question was only directed towards his statement saying tht there is no engine change/power change.

Nobody is arguing here about his cosmetic perception, hell even I share it. I have been on the look out for the tech specs so all I wanted to know was if he did find any as I didn't see any word such as, "I think", "IMO", "let's assume" etc.. hope you get the point.

If the statement wasn't directed at me then please ignore this post

Well, finally its out. Being a Hero Moto Corp. fan I'm a bit disappointed. If you check the last 4-6 years there are no good bikes came out from Hero, after ZMR and CBZ Xtreme. Their CEO is running out of good designs I think. Regarding this Bike : Front view is kinda good but sidewise it looks awkward. Really don't understand what can be done just using the same power and the 20bhp output. Here Bike manufacturers are giving good competition like Duke 390, P375, CBR 250 Repsol edition, Ninja 300. Sadly Hero is still stuck with their 20 BHP SUPERBIKE. I would say their graph will go down and down again. Firstly their service sucks to the core but again we loved their bikes but I don't think that its time to start loving some other machines. FYI : I'm still a HERO HONDA owner.
Life is a road, therefor I wander !!!

i think service depends upon localities, companies cant do much about it.and the reason hero make those designs/power output is it clicks among the masses, something not purists agree sometime.apparently Indians customers love fairing, graphics and bulk, but not at cost of economy, power and handling are secondary.this is evident from the upgrades most bikers make which are mostly cosmetic.btw this does look good, like a proper sport tourer than the current zmr..and no i down own a hero honda/hero or their fan,but its the way i see it.also while i hope for it,i doubt the 33 bhp theory above, thats waaaaay much expectation from an indian 250cc(or any other 250cc)
personally, cbr 250 or ninja would be my idle quarter litre(if the government were paying for it)

Hero didnt exactly make ugly bikes since their inception, the splendor was a handsome bike for its time, i still love the original cbz, i sold my bicylce to add money for arranging downpayment for the 1st gen karizma and i loved those split tail lamps, post that i guess, the munjals handed over the designing department to one of their toddler grandsons, so that he could put his crayons and sticker tattoos to some good use.

Dear Hero, Bring back the original cbz with an updated engine, stop paying Krissshhh for adverts, pay that money to a good designing house.

Oh and the impulse is a good bike, please add 4 cd100 engines to it instead of the single unit it operates on.

                                Thank You.
