Overall, I believe the prices of all motorcycles are pretty competitive. In my opinion the Daytona is still worth the asking price. Much better option than any of the 1000cc sportbikes for India.The Chronicles of Motorcycling - The Man, The Machine and The RoadComment

Some guys waited for Street triple may wanna now wait for Z800!
636 can kill this Daytona, if Kawasaki got balls to bring it at sensible price level.
Z1000 will deal the speed triple.
I think apart from bonnies, Triumph India will find it hard soon.
Tiger 800, that great bike is asking 12, world is tough I must say.Comment

Lets hold on our breath. As posited here it is 'Daytona 'R'' model price (have no access to live streaming here, hence relying on xbhp's fellow mates), the site clearly shows the basic Daytona 675 model, in international market US it costs $ 1900 less then R model, hence we may expect the base model in and around 10.2 lakhs range. The Triumph India website also shows Daytona standard model enlisted. Lets be positive on our hopes. Extremely disappointed with the pricing! Daytona's price is no where near the 7L which was the estimated when during the auto-expo. They could have introduced normal Daytona at 8.5L or max 9L, anything more than that creates a mental barrier of paying XX L for a 600 CC bike, which is not a good thingBiker @ heartComment
