There are many like you on internet who believes, that bashing others are a skill. and thinks that all others are fools.
Your attitude rocks. Keep up the good work !
Note: I am not talking about since and technology here, say if you found my question a nonsense, use better language to tell me that I was wrong.
When a middle class man have to spend 8+L on a bike, its obvious that he will have questions. I agree, I may not have the knowledge you have, but that doesn't mean that you need to talk in this language, However if this is your way of doing and you thinks I need not say like this, its ok. leave it.
Any way, I will not talk as you did. I don't think knowledge is the license to ill treat fellow beings.Last edited by kochumvk; 11-30-2013, 05:24 PM.

Tired of all that price war and debate where everyone is trying to prove if Triumph has done the pricing well or not.
Well I have a little different thing to say, you want Triumph and you have money, enough money, you would buy it. You don't have enough money, you won't buy it or might not buy it

One of the most informative videos of the Bonneville:
Enjoy the videos and music that you love, upload original content and share it all with friends, family and the world on YouTube.
Another one with some music and highway riding:

I know that comparing a Bonneville to a Ninja 650 is more than a bit odd. One mitigating factor is that both are comfortable for long distance cruising. So, I made a strange comparo sheet for myself. See if you like it!

they decided to make maximum money from more sellable bikes.Originally posted by incipient View PostI don't think the middle class enthusiast is even a consideration at this price point. This is going to be a rich boy's toy.
I would hate to see this bike being wasted in the hands of posers. I just hope there exists an elite few who have the money, riding skill and the cohones to ride a superb precision cornering machine like this the way its meant to be ridden on a track!
Yep. It's a rich boy's toy for sure. I too hope that the bikes don't sell well if it results in better pricing LOL
According to sunilg, they'll most likely launch the standard edition. My guess is that they'll look at the response to the R and decide about the SE.Originally posted by prateek95 View Postwhat about daytona 675 ?? isnt it coming that R version is pricier

Re: Triumph Motorcycles Launch 10 motorcycles in India : Price, specs and more
... there has been much heart shattering tales shared online since the time Daytona 675R prices hve been revealed... and apparently there is no sign of the std 675 in the foreground. However.. I have a curious query regarding the same.
The Indian version of Triumph Motorcycles enlist two 675's in the catalog. One being the 675R and other being the 675 ABS. When I dug a little deep, I found a page called 'Help me choose' .. which basically compares the different models of Triumph catalog among themselves. This page has options to compare the 675 ABS with 675 R .. Now the confusion.
...
Is 675 ABS is the std 675 and 675 R is the one with track ready goodies. Comparing the two one can see the obvious differences these two models have. So are the Std 675 and 675R models listed here with their names as 675 ABS and 675 R. Definitely, these two are not the same models and AFAIK there are only two versions of 675 Daytona... 675 Std/(675) and 675 R.
The UK site also has exactly the same 675 ABS models featured and they had the 675 R ABS mentioned in place of 675 R as on Indian site, though both are exactly the same when compared.
Also if this analogy is correct then is the price quoted for 675 models is for 675 ABS/675 std or for 675 R??
Does someone has details of the prices of these two models for Daytona as X showroom figures?
Just curious to know if we are not on a wild goose chase as far as expecting for a launch of a std 675 is concerned while it is already here..
which would be terrible if that happens.
Much thanks for any clarifications.

Re: Triumph Motorcycles Launch 10 motorcycles in India : Price, specs and more
The one launched in India is D675R. Its price is 11.4L ES. D675 ABS(SE) wasn't talked about anywhere by triumph. Also, only 675R was showcased at the launch. If the D675 ABS is launched, it'd be priced between 10 and 10.5L looking at the US price.Originally posted by shashrash View Post... there has been much heart shattering tales shared online since the time Daytona 675R prices hve been revealed... and apparently there is no sign of the std 675 in the foreground. P.S As for the difference, yes, 675 ABS is the standard edition with Nissin brakes and ABS. 675R comes with Brembo brakes, adjustible Ohlins suspension, ABS, quick shifter, carbon fibre mudguards and exclusive White-Red color.Last edited by pcgamer; 12-02-2013, 08:04 PM.

Okies... so it appears that they have only added the 675 Std as 675 ABS to the website catalog but havent launched it yet as a near future offering in India?Originally posted by pcgamer View PostThe one launched in India is D675R.
