            It have an inferior frame frame mainly. Made of steal. Power difference is not that much in dyno.

            And yes around 50kg difference is a dealbraker in my books with current pricing.

            If I am you I will buy stripe ( I am living in Pune) a showroom will open in Pune.

            Riding dynamics of stripe will much better.

            I haven't seen even a single review in reputed international sites where z800 comes out as a winner.

            It sure got a smooth motor.

            But stripe will be a much more fun bike to ride. I don't know about services.

            Read all the comparisons on reputed websites before deciding.

            Much thanks mate for the info.. Yaah, I had already evaluated all of these aspects and havent found any review puttin z800 on top. In fact I heard in a few reviews that Kawasaki built z800 just coz Triumph had ST blasting its way through popularity charts.. which def is the case with this class leader.
            I am almost committed for ST just wanted to shed any last piece of doubt before I sign the check.

            Since I had ridden a SpeedTriple last year in US and that sounded .. i meant growled like nothin else on road. So ST is def the pick here.

I couldnt stop to see the helmet and identify who it was as I had already passed by.. The ST looked superb, even though I saw it for maybe half a second

                No, it wasn't me. Sadly, I came to office today. Can't wait for 7pm and do a quick ride around town to buy a cover for the bike. (Any ideas? Where do I find bike covers? I need a non-plastic cover. Will be great if someone PMs me as it's a bit off-topic).

                So, now that you talked about helmet, I'm loving this new helmet. Very soft and comfortable even after being a race-fit (very snug, I've size M). I actually wanted a Shoei Marquez replica but there was issue with availability, hence settled with a HJC RPHA 10+ Lorenzo replica.

                  @shadyabhi. Heartiest congrats for the new acquisition.

                  From the foto at p3pm, it seems that the bike has very high levels of fit and finish - that of the lovely curvy swing-arm shows it all. But then, T has always been renowned for the superlative quality of their bikes.

                  And for Bonnie lovers like me, please ask any riders who have taken delivery of their Bonnies to put pics up here/start a new thread/both!

                      Got a call from Triumph dealership to come to their showroom for a test ride. I'm super excited but at the same time, I think it would suck due to the insane traffic in the area where the showroom is. I'm planning to go next Saturday regardless.

                        Now that the bikes are getting delivered, could new owners share some details about bank loans, rates of interest etc? Such info would help the aficionados make final decisions.

                          Sirjee, here you go (Posting these even though I am not an owner, was thinking of becoming one but plans postponed as of now )






                          It is flat 7% interest, I would say much better than what Bajaj offers (around 10% IIRC).

                            That is one crazy superb, powerful street bike.
                            Waiting for more drooling pics, and ownership thread from you.

                            Regarding bike cover you can check out X-Torque store at Doddanekundi or Katuri Nagar store or JCRoad(cant assure of the quality there).

                                @shadyabhi : Did you pick up any of the accesories on offer ? Four of these caught my eye : The flyscreen, bellypan, TPMS and quickshifter. The TPMS appears to be integrated into the display itself, according to the website.

                                I turned up at Keerthi Motors Bangalore to see the bikes in the flesh. I also had a mini ride on the street triple, which appeared to be a stock bike, but with an arrow exhaust. I actually stalled it half a dozen times before getting the hang of it. Now, I am bitten by the bug and am feverishly crunching numbers to see how best to arrange finances....
