The track at Daruhera, Haryana was inaugrated by Pankaj Dubey, MD of Polaris India, and he showed his riding skills as well, as he took his Sportsman 500 HO on the track and gave a demonstration of how to ride the Polaris ATVs well! xBhp was at the track and the first to ride the track on board the Trail Boss 330. An ATV perfect for the size of the track, which is extremely tight and narrow, the 500 HO and RZR 800, appear a little too big and cumbersome for this track. Being just 70 km from Delhi and 50 km from Gurgaon, this track promises a Sunday of excitement for all the members of the family. The location of the track is bang on the NH8, so one needn't have to search for the place, especially as this is a stone's throw from the Hero MotoCorp Factory. This track is good for a day of fun, with Polaris' fantastic machines, a decent track and good food, but do not expect an adrenaline rush for the serious adventurer and off-roader!

For all the adventure enthusiasts who love to go off road with their dirt bikes or race on uneven terrain, Polaris India Pvt Ltd, announced the launch of its off-road track (Polaris Experience Zone) in Dharuhera, Haryana. Hard-core adventure and motorsports enthusiasts can now experience the thrill of riding the heart thumping series of power sport vehicles lined up by Polaris, on these tracks. The new track, 69 Kms away from Delhi on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway is called the Pickup Fun Zone and also houses an adventure theme park, along restaurant.

Spread over a huge area, the off road track at the Pickup Fun Zone is nicely located offering a chance to explore the outdoors in a fun, new, exciting and adventurous way. You can enjoy the thrill of Polaris vehicles and a sense of discovery as you manoeuvre through dirt track with trucks, slush pit, humps, sand and stones all on a complete dirt terrain giving the full mud and dirt experience. A ride on the Polaris ATV single seater will cost Rs. 350 and Rs. 500 for a double seater.

Re: Polaris inaugurates ATV Track in NCR

Well, I am here after riding & writing about the experience yesterday.

The track is in a restaurant called "Zaiqa" near(200 meters ahead of Hero if travelling from Delhi to Jaipur) to Hero MotoCorp plant in Dharuhera.

1st its a restaurant cum fun place. So ATV riding is a part of it. The manager said there will be more fun activities planned like camel rides & stuff (regardless for us).
As soon as you enter all one can feel is the track is so small & trust me none of the people there know about the vehicles, but they ride good though.
So its better to know a little about which ride you are planning to take.

            Options - 90cc - For kids
            200cc, 330cc(Trail boss) - Rs.385
            500cc(Sportsman HO) - Rs.550
            800cc (RZR 800) - Rs. 650

The money you pay is for riding gear (Shitty though), & Two laps around the track shown above roughly 1 km (2 laps). It has 3 climbs & slopes, 1 rocky patch with water & few bends with & without banks.

            About the Ride!
We got some time to see & select the vehicles, & see around the engineering with these magnificent offroaders.
Then we tought we would ride a trail boss, then myself & my friend paid for & got tickets, went in & suited up, few words in the name of instruction. (NOTE - Most important instruction is if you screw up by overspeeding you can be fined hefty.)
Then Vroom. this is the first time for me riding an ATV & man i struggled after my long time bike riding habits. the steering & riding technique is quite different for this.
After a slow 1st lap I got used to the ride, So was doing fine except that i had to focus more to steer harder to right in few slopes.

Over all it was a good experience. But the summary is I feel its a bit costly for 2 laps. 4 laps woud be great for above pricing.
            Passionate people can experience.
People with deep pockets & with spouses could spend a day, have lunch in restaurant go & pick every option & have a fun day.

            Hope this will be usefull.
