Re: Yamaha R25 Launched in Indonesia
Yup, you should do so. Unless we here some info about the India launch, the discussions won't come to an end.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostYes, I'd suggested the same long back! Anyways, if majority says the thread be locked for the time being, it will be!
Will check around in some time again and do the honors!

Yeah.
mods: We're drifting away from the topic on hand.
It's better to lock it before some comparisons/brand wars stem up.

True and I am assuming the HX250R will do the justice for me..Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostI have also done the same on my R15 but these bikes are almost maxed out at that speed. I'm looking for something which feels relaxed at that speed, and has sufficient power to pull to 150/160 at the twist of the throttle.
somewhat inclined towards the HX250R

Same here. Honda CBR650F?i might just wait and wait till I save enough money for a 600 cc bike at max if I am not happy with any of the quarter liter bikes..

HX250, power may not be really enough. Above 35ps should provide at least a 120kmph cruising speed.
It's mostly either R25/R3 or N300 for me.

Re: Yamaha R25 Launched in Indonesia
Ride quality is mostly not something you can expect on a track setup bike.
Exhaust note others can hear more than us (the engine is so noisy that you can't hear the silencer!
) But all the same, it's not pleasant.
I was more concerned about the overheating (on a naked bike if it's this much, just imagine how much the faired one will heat!), lack of refinement, warm start problem, lack of seat space, the list is endless
CBR300, I don't really expect it to be exciting.

Same pinch. I didnt find the bike too good.. especially the ride quality.. i didnt like the exhaust note as well.. i am expecting the pulsar 390 to be the same in terms of ride quality.. i am now waiting for the Hero HX250R, R25 and the CBR300..Originally posted by Sarvajit View Postnagoo: I rode the Duke390 and it did not appeal. I don't expect the RC version to be any different in feel. Back to waiting for this one. If it has 35+ps, I'l plan for it regardless of number of cylinders!

Keep that feeling with yourself.Originally posted by chaosaddict View PostI have a bad feeling that Yamaha may not release the R25 in India at all
Dont worry your dream of revving the engine in Bangalore traffic would be fulfilled.
When, even I cant assure.
Anyways keeps hope high and follow drooling pics.
Moreover, not a single word has come out my Yamaha India Marketing team, so yes it would be too early to predict or claim anything by anyone.
