A total of 3000 units of Ninja 250 and 650r have been sold till date.
There are currently 70 showrooms which will be increaded to 80 soon
500 units of the Ninja 300 already in India for sale. Efforts are being made to increase availability and reduce waiting period for the bike.
No plans as of now to introduce ABS. If the numbers are better than expected, they might considering bringing ABS, but no plans for now.
Localization of parts for the N300 is around 10%. Headlamps, tail lamps and switches are localised. Plans to expand Indian parts sourcing not only for N300 but also for other Kawasaki models for EU/US markets.
Currently the 1+ Lakh category of motorcycles is the fastest growing segment in the Indian Market.
