absolutely hopeless bikes are produced by mahindra, the quality is (beep) I own a rodeo 6 months old and it rides and sounds like a 100 years old , shockers gone, they give you 6 or 7 free services and all they do is nothing they don't even wash it, only one service centre in whole city hence customer is dog and service guy god, please people invest your hard earned money in other good companies product, mahindra's strategy is to take advantage where other companies lack like good showroom, sales team and low waiting period.

This is were a common man actually gets trapped or saves his hard earn money.

Buying a product and later running\measuring the distance daily by inch and kms for some parts or service is what I will hate the most.

But still if it's a class one product then I might go for this provided to be in limits(Price\Technology).

lets hope that this indigenous bike turns out to be a good one!! the design seems different than the pics earlier doing the rounds on internet.

A couple of days back we got the pictures of the 300cc Mahindra Mojo from the company’s all-dealer meet that gave us the first official hints of its launch anytime soon.

And today, we share with you its completely uncamouflaged spyshots, shot by Raj Kumar, a reader of Motor Vikatan, somewhere at Dhrmapuri in Tamil Nadu.
Raj Kumar, apparently also had a chat with the testers and there were a few interesting bits that got revealed. They apparently told him the bike’s top speed to be around 148 kmph and also that it would be launched within three weeks!
While the top speed is one thing we can believe, however, its official launch may not be so close, considering that the company is about to launch its first 110cc scooter codenamed as G101 towards the end of this month or early next month. However, the motorcycle loosing camouflage and the word from testers do make our belief of an early launch stronger.

When Mahindra first showed the bike in 2010 it was said that its 292cc engine was developed with Bologna based, Engines Engineering. Mahindra had acquired a 70 per cent stake in that company in 2008. However, Mahindra sold its stake in the company in 2012 and, interestingly enough, the news of Hero MotoCorp joining hands with Engines Engineering soon followed (September 2012).

It is rumored that the present engine in the Mojo may be a new unit and has been completely developed by Mahindra. If that is true, it would be one mean feat that Mahindra would have achieved as even the most established two-wheeler manufacturers have not been able to bring a 300cc single in the Indian market so far.

And even if Mahindra has just further honed the old motor, it has seen more than enough testing for the company to gauge its performance, efficiency and reliability among several other things. The company has taken so much time with this motorcycle that prospective customers will expect the bike to have nothing short of top-notch fit-and-finish and build quality. And, as I had said in my previous post, the pricing would be equally critical.

An introductory on-road price of around 1.4-1.6 lakhs should see customers making a beeline outside Mahindra showrooms, and Mahindra will always have the liberty to increase the price thereafter, depending upon the demand.

Mahindra has price their two wheeler very close to their competitors price. And I am sure that this time also they will price their bike in line with cbr250 or duke pricing..if they do so then they will end up in poor sale. No matter how much people like it.

Instead of being also-ran in street bike segment, they should launch an adventure bike with this engine. Goes well with Mahindra's image as well.

while coming to office today, saw a Mojo test mule, in an all black styling, something like "fear the black" of pulsars.

Looks like they are testing the bike up in Himachal towards Keylong.. Why don't they just launch this darn bike yet??

No..couldn't listen exhaust note.

Speed was around 70 - 80 kmph.

But unlike the bike shown in pic, the one i saw had all black styling.

As per the opinion of the test rider, it was to be launched 'soon'.
He was on the way to Leh. It will come too late to the party though.
