Am surprised to hear this. I did 4 test rides during late september/early october on the D200 at the banjara outlet. They readily gave me the bike and once a 390 when they couldn't find the 200's keys.
Are you paying by full cash or a loan ? I had paid full cash... and they were either offering 1000rs discount or a full tank fuel free.
And btw, the showroom at hitech is also varun motors (it is the head office for the ktm banjara lol) and [MENTION=72198]Balgi[/MENTION] the manager you are talking about is that elderly uncle who usually shuttles between the banjara and hitech outlet and is a very cool but as you pointed out he is sometimes lost lol ! And the mechanic Srikanth at ktm banjara earlier used to work for the begumpet outlet (probiking, that had its service at tadbund) i think.

I paid in cheque.. and even I got the test ride.. but the bike wasn't a test ride bike.. it's a customer's bike.. I'm sure that they won't personalise the test ride bike do they?? or why would they tell me (all begumpet, jubliee check post (sorry not banjara) & hitex) that the d200 met with an accident and it's out of commission?? am I some kind of a target at random they want to troll a customer?? lol I don't think so.. but if it was, that's not funny.. they even offered me the 390 test ride and I said no to them and I said that I only want the 200 coz I'm buying 200.. well.. now since there's a change of plans, I'm with the RC 200.. this time I didn't even ride it.. I simply booked the 200 based on the looks of 390.. irony..

I just stated my experience and what I think and what happened to me.. I'm not putting anyone down or being judgemental.. I'm also not telling that banjara is bad coz all those people who I met say only that the banjara is just awesome.. so yeah..

The one at hitech (beside image hospitals) is not varun, it's vinayaka guy.. the same dealer as begumpet..

No worries man.. but i think you could still ask for a full tank of fuel. btw the ktm near the juiblee check post is the banjara ktm.
And sorry, I had got confused between hitech and kondapur ! Correction: Varun motors is the one at banjara (near juiblee check post) and their head office is the Kondapur Ktm.
If you still have a choice, i suggest you ride the rc before you take a decision. If I were to spend around 1.8 lakh then I would have picked up a CBR250R.. but then that's just my personal opinion.

Already did that.. I paid the monies.. so yeah only rc200 no cbr for me.. I actually did consider cbr but liked the ktm.. also the Honda service is pathetic here.. had terrible experience with them with my current unicorn.. so yeah unfortunately..

He said that he won't give full tank.. no ways.. these guys know that coz they have the cheapest pricing here... About 1-2k cheaper than jubliee..

Hitec and begumpet is vinayaka motors whereas jubliee checkpost is varun motors..

I'm attaching this checklist for people just in case so that people can check what needs to be checked while taking delivery to avoid any mishaps..

RC 390 TR bike crashes near Mekhri Circle. Most probably belonged to Mekhri KTM!

Sad to see this. I think some guy took test ride saying he can handle the bike...hope the rider is ok.

Same thing happened here but the bike fell even before he start riding it. He couldn't handle weight.. The guys were asking him not to buy 390 but he wouldnt accept it.

Heard the wind shield is prone to scratches. And the dust will be trapped inside wind shield making it tough to clean...and cleaning the radiator part too....is it true??
