Well, it happened just in between!
I had filled up the form but hadn't paid him yet!

The mirror had issues is all I can say, right from the beginning. It was loose when I checked the bike the day it came to the showroom. But that too, is not an excuse for 'this'!

yeah the RC390 might finally be the bike worthy of upgrading from something as excellent as the R15v2..the main somewhat underwhelming aspect of the R15v2, viz it's relative lack of power/acceleration post 110-115kmph (that is, in flat out highways), is surely i suppose more than compensated for by the RC390 and hopefully the RC's braking, stability, cornering and general handling aspects will also be at least comparable to that of R15v2 if not significantly better (which is not so easy a standard bar)...not too sure how reliable and durable it will be (bajaj has yet to prove itself on this aspect and yamaha/japanese already excel at it) so not sure how much it will endure prolonged rough and tough usage (R15v2 seems to never tire and not fatigue so easily (touchwood:P) no matter how roughly you might be ripping it for however long), but hopefully it will be at least more than decent at the durability aspect.

of course, to be precise and fair, it's not actually any underwhelming aspect of any 150cc single cyl 18hp bike to not churn out loads of acceleration at 110/115+ kmph, it's actually just that a case of our over-demanding expectations not being met from a small machine.:-)

Coolant leak in RC390 after a burnout. Is it because of overfilling or some other scary stuff?

Haha.. [MENTION=38941]vikas007sharma[/MENTION] we Indians are pretty talented in space constrained areas.. I have seen up to 7 people sitting on a splendor.. Two girls and a guy on DUKE!!! Amazing.. Hope the Austrians don't have an issue with that.. Speaking of the duke.. I wonder where will they jeep their feet on..?? There's only one pedal for pillion...

@all I guess we are all waiting for some reviews, dedicated ownership threads and deliveries to move forward since this thread has seen limited activity in the past two days!!

Absolutely. This is not related to this particular post/thread but must say that people demand too much from R15. They sometimes even forget that this is a 150 cc machine at the end of the day.
And Dukes are pure street fighters, easy to ride, comes with mind-blowing pickup. They are two different types of bikes. Maybe when R25 comes out, we can have a fairer idea as to how does it fare against RC200. I'll surely go for a TR of RC200(I like the design against the naked sibling).

Just called Navi Mumbai KTM dealer for delivery purpose
He told me deliveries may start from
8-10 October but he doesn't have idea about how many bikes will be there in first lot
Btw one query ; not everyone who booked bike is going to pay full amount in cash so don't you people think if Deliveries starting around the date he mentioned, they should contact who ever booked the bikes to arrange for money as many will surely going to avail finance for it.....

According to the discussion I had here in Bangalore, they will be calling up people who will be getting the delivery, one week in advance.
