Any chain cleaner should do the job...I have used Tribocor and Motul and found Tribocor to be much better at cleaning.

After cleaning the chain, you should use a chain lubricant - again you have loads of options - like Motul, Tribocor, TVS, etc. I would recommend Tribocor for rainy season since it is more sticky - but it lasts less than others, say Motul.

Good news for Bangalore people delivery of RC390 has started from today, Saw one RC on road

It started yesterday, there were about 10+ bikes delivered :-)

Wohoo.. booked.. delivery on Monday. The day my last exam is on..

Edit: 12 bikes are in this lot and one more lot is incoming.. guess at this rate, the waiting period will be reduced to about 1 month soon..

Now I'm not sure whether they all are 200 or there's a combo of 200 & 390..

BTW saw the Kawasaki 650cc naked street bike on display.. not sure what it's named... But the digital console looked unimpressive and cheap like a 125cc bike.. just my opinion..

Haaah! How I wish that would have been the case! :-(

Had been out on a holiday and out of network!

Went though the latest 'happenings' and then called up my dealer... Sometime back!

It seems, it's only the Rc390 which has got the approval and not the younger one! :-(

A lot of RC 200 is coming by 15 of this month and the approval should be done in a week or so!

Fingers crossed!

Edit : I am talking about Mekhri KTM, Bangalore

Maybe its because they spend too much time here and not enough at the dealer's shop. LOL

How many cleanings does the motul bottle last..? Any specific model name for the cleaner and the lube..?

All the best for your remaining exams!!

1 Motul lube bottle was kaput when used for 5 to 6 times.

But chain clean lasted only for 4 times,since the chain was pretty dirty so had to use a bit more of it.

I virtually lived in my showroom manager's mobile until I received the bike.He was so relieved at the sight of me going away after the delivery.By the way.....guys who have received the bike,have they even received the temporary number??I have got only showroom number so far and waiting for RTO approval since then.

Yea,they gave me this showroom number saying that temporary number will be given in next 3 days.But with all the issues with RTO approval..everything lies in disdain.

I did clean my bike a week ago,the body was pretty easy to clean and then came the fairing which was pretty much a nightmare to clean.

The main problem is that there is very less space between the upper transparent fairing and the inner black part.This attracts a lot of dust and also leaves water stains on the inside .And transparent fairing doesn't helps at camouflaging at all.

Have to find a fix for that.

Someone actually painted the whole transparent visor black on FB!!

Yes, the paddock stand needs some jugaad till we find some solution. but the service centre guys charge about 200 bucks for chain cleaning & lubing.. guess a visit every month will do.. 200*12=2400 = One paddock stand (approx.)

Wait what? Dude why would you be charged 200/- for chain cleaning? I got it done for 100/- only until I changed svc. Now I get it done for free (complimentary). What do they use to clean the chain? Gold spray?
