As we know, there is one Xbhp Member who owns it. Now he will have an exclusive bike.
And I think, Suzuki will supply parts, as the bike will remain in production in Global market. Though it might take some time to source. But knowing Suzuki's Reliability, Owners dont have to worry....

Re: Suzuki to withdraw the Inazuma from India starting March 2015

In my opinion, the sad ending of this great machine is because of suzuki's marketing strategy. They could have kept this bike for 'display' in more dealers in all the states.. this bike looks much impressive than seeing in picture. as the design part is like for a commuter and only by seeing in pic, many(Indian) riders feel its not value for money. Many of the riders apart from major cities couldnt even see it or test rides as this bike was not available with dealers in their states and many dealers might not even aware of suzuki deals a bike like this. Suzuki is not new in India like Harley or Triumph, and Suzuki has dealers in all states for displaying their bike but they didnt do it. No rider will like to travel from one state to another to see/test ride a bike(unless its litre class bike/CBU units).

Honestly, where would you place a multicylinder motorcycle? Is 2.3 Lacs on road a bad price? (This was the price after the recent discount.)

It was the cheapest multicylinder motorcycle in the market, and a great tourer at that if I'm not wrong. And the looks were bland, I agree, but in a country filled with commuters, it wasn't so bad, or was it?

(I know I sound like an old man at a funeral paying a tribute, "he was a great person, he was not that bad, etc, etc", although I still believe a bike so good didn't deserve a funeral after all.)

The problem was somewhere in the marketing and looks of the motorcycle, in my humble opinion, but not the price.
And yes, like @Prince_sirohi says, the existing owners will now face the aftermath.
          1. Yes price wasn't a great problem
          2. yes it was bad especially the front .
          3. Again yes .

No adds or nothing would have saved the face of Inazuma.

Re: Suzuki to withdraw the Inazuma from India starting March 2015

I would have loved to go for it. Infact, would still try to get it by arranging money if possible, I am pretty sure it will be long to have this bike replaced. I have taken a test ride of this bike (I ride a ZMR), an have tried my hands on the popular KTM brothers along with Bullets too. Not to raise a heated discussion, but Inazuma felt better than all the ones I have mentioned above. My idea of a refined engine was Karizma or a Unicorn - but the smooth nature of this twin cylinder took me by surprise. A 1 km was enough to assure me that this is the best mile muncher under 3 lacs available in India. If you want to race between traffic signals then it's not your cup of tea. But seriously, this should never have been stopped, it's a gem of an engine.. .
            Wish I had one.

I too would have loved to go for Inazuma. In fact I was saving up for 2015 purchase. But now that it is getting discontinued, the resale value after say 5-6 years will take a good beating. I will still go for it only if they provide discounts on existing stock.

What other alternative do tourers have? CBR250/300? Ninja 300? Certainly not KTM RC twins. At 2.4L on road, this was a value proposition, sadly abandoned by Suzuki. Marketing department should be revamped at Suzuki, they tried to kill GS150R first (but it sailed on due to its own virtue), and now successfully killed Inazuma.

Me too in the same situation, started saving for this bike. Now looking for alternative. I want a tourer. Based on the review of honda cbr300r from abroad, it has good power delivery and tall gearing for touring. It touches 100kmph in 6k rpms in top gear. As icing on cake, optional abs.but none can give the comfort of twin powered zuma. Really gonna miss it and cannot expect anything like this is near future.

It was a nice bike. Pls lay stress on the word WAS [emoji13] . it was a twin cylinder but didn't have enough ponnies. The only person riding it should be some one who has not ridden a bike ever. Ultra smooth, refined and dependable with enough power to thrill you but not to kill you. Long live I

This was a product by Suzuki Global and as far as I know came to India despite Suzuki India's apparent disinterest. They were pretty sure that it will not work in India and probably that is they reason why they didn't invest much towards its marketing.

The pricing was definitely steep; however, the Inazuma shared some parts with the original BKing and other big bikes from Suzuki stable; hence the pricing.

Sad to see such a good bike go off from Indian markets. it was a truly a benchmark motorcycle as far fit and finish goes.

As far as i know their stocks are already over. The INR 1 lac discount was for stock clearance . Still you can try your luck with Suzkuki dealers who might have a piece or two lying with them.

I booked one today. Did not talk about any discount, because I was not sure whether it is really discontinued or not. I had been waiting for this for a long time now. But do I really need to be scared for spare parts? What is your view?

As per my understanding, if u are using this bike mostly in a city where Suzuki provides service centre for Zuma/premium bikes, you dont need to worry. But if some breakdown happens in a long trip or if u move to a place where Suzuki doesn't have service center for premium bikes(its already limited to very few dealers even in major cities), things will be difficult. It could have been improved if suzuki continues to sell it and more dealers support/provide service for zuma. but now there is no hope on it.

Went to the show-room again and took the bike out for a long test ride one more time. I think I got my answer and decided to continue with the bike. It might turn out to be a stupid decision in future, but right now, I want to be happy.
