No discounts so far..even none of the dealers agree about the withdrawal of zuma. Recently visited Aryan Suzuki, They say some graphics change is on the way, thats it. All the spreading news are just roumers. so completely confused...only time will say the fate of zuma.

Suzuki dealers have kept this attitude right from the disappearance of Inazuma from website. If at all Inazuma continues in India, I will buy it in April 2015. Can't trust dealers with vested interest. All the best for your purchase. If at all Inazuma continues to sell, I too will join you in ownership

It is good if Suzuki continues to sell. Time when my mind was almost confirmed to go for CBR250R ABS is when Suzuki slashed the price of Zuma. And test ride impressed me well and decided to increase my budget and buy it by 2015. Now this withdrawal news made me nowhere because if i wait till march/april and if it stops, I may loose zuma and cbr250r both(because I like the current VFR ish style, personally not impressed with the full fairing/twin headlight/lengthy silensor design of cbr which honda plans to launch in early next year.. )

I'd have bought this bike already if it was available in my state. Unfortunately, even Cochin wasn't a big enough city for Suzuki for a 250cc bike.

I enquired at manikandan motors @ cochin 2 months back. they said they do sell this bike and bike can be serviced there.

Why am I getting this feeling that the fact this bike is going has somehow enhanced it's appeal. When it was launched it got largely underwhelming reviews and very very few people seemed interested(if the price was lesser!!). But now I see so many guys wanting to lay their hands on it suddenly.
Where were you guys when Inazuma needed you? You may have saved it

It is akin to the economic theory. Similar thing happened with HMT. Their watches continued to sell in miniscule quantities for years, and hardly anyone looked at that direction. But once it was announced that HMT would be shut down, the watches started selling in black market at 2-3 times rate! Same with Inazuma. Hope Suzuki catches the drift and improves upon the situation.

Suzuki, it's a classical marketing mix match. You have a stupendous product but don't know how to market. If people don't know you have such a good product, then how you expect to sell it? I got fed up by the innumerable times I visited suzuki showroom to enquire about this bike. First 2 months, I let them know such a bike is launched by them. Next 2 months, they assured me of a test ride, then they started laughing at themselves not knowing what's happening.. Finally I went ahead and brought a Ninja. Sad attitude by #SuzukiIndia don't kill yourself! (Any day I can say suzuki products are top notch in quality and reliability)

How i wish they do not discontinue this . I am going through heart vs head battle for some time now thinking of zuma and if they discontinue now , will be a blessing in disguise. Last thing i want is a bike with limited spare support .

I called Manikandan motors and it turns out that the Inazuma is available in Cochin (about 2.4L onroad) as well as another dealer in Kozhikode. Presently working in Trivandrum and the sales guy said that the parts/trained service persons are there in Cochin and Kozhikode only. Will go for a test drive if I can get off work this week

I called manikandan motors last week and asked about the withdrawal, sales person said its all roumers and but offered call me back once they confirm with company. But he didnt call me till date. also he said they are the only dealers who do sale/service Inazuma in kerala. i enquired dealer @kozhikode, he said they will bring bike from cochin and deliver to customer if needed and service can be done at any suzuki service centre . Dealers themselves not sure about this bike/availablity or future. really pathetic situation.

Hapbco, Calicut was the dealer I bought my GS150 from. They seem to have sold significantly bigger number of bikes than the dealers in Kollam/Trivandrum if the rush at their service center is any indication. So I\'m assuming they are the ones who sell Inazuma in Calicut. Their after sales service/attitude was not pleasant at all though.

Couple of days back, I received a relative at the Bangalore airport. He came from Kuala Lumpur and he brought a 40-inch Sony TV from Malaysia. The total cost including import duties at the airport was mere Rs 33,000/- and that was a saving of nearly Rs 20,000/-

Guess what, I was standing at the arrivals exit watching big-screen TVs coming out on trolleys every now and then; 6-7 of them!

Can we do same thing with the motorcycles, via air or ship cargo?

TVs don\'t need to be registered with RTO or run on public property If the import of bikes were as simple as TVs, people would simply ride off from the airport rather than hiring a taxi.
