Re: Suzuki to withdraw the Inazuma from India starting March 2015
All,
I am extremely happy to announce that i got a brand new red Zuma home today. I followed up with Advaith for a month and they agreed to sell it. Turns out it wasnt registered, the owner had initially decided to keep it for himself but changed his mind. So i got a brand new bike after all
Rode it 40 km today - some of it in high traffic and some on bad roads. Absolutely loved it. The wife loved how easy it is to climb on, how spacious and soft the seat is, and how her legs didnt get cooked. Oh and the muted exhaust note - sounds sophisticated and grown up.
I did test ride the benelli 300. The exhaust was astounding, and it looks and feels like a really well made bike. But the Zuma's suspension, refinement and rideability were better. The benelli heated up quite quickly, which was my main grouse with my Duke 390. Overall i dont think the 300 makes as good amcommuter in daily bumper to bumper Bangalore traffic.
I am aware that it is a risk buying the Zuma now, given its a discontinued model that sold in miniscule numbers. I just hope the tradeoff is worth it. And that the service experience is not too bad.
Tanay, thank you for the lead. You are welcome to come ride it post run-in

Congrats sir.I hope the Indian market acknowledges the beauty of the bike and to how comfortable the bike is and how smooth and refined it is.I still think the indian market is not that matured yet for bikes as most of us compare the 0-100 timing and top speed and that's about it,forgetting that refinement amd quality of bike also plays an equal role .its a gem of a bike and would last for years and years and years.Originally posted by sandeip View PostAll,

Re: Suzuki to withdraw the Inazuma from India starting March 2015
Well, I live in Mumbai, Bought Suzuki Inazuma about 2 years back, I found it A Class byke. The speed, the noiselessness engine and the ease of handling is outstanding. It reaches to 143 kms speed in no time!
I knew that it was going to take a halt in India, on assurance of the Suzuki Team I took the delivery. As per new norms company has to supply the spare parts for 5 years.
In Mumbai I found the service only satisfactory in Thane, spares are too available on request. I just had a query, I have seen 2-3 Inazuma on Mumbai's road, has any one found a private mechanic, or store of spares in Mumbai?
