I just think the guy at the showroom gave a very lame excuse to people why they shouldn't shoot pics or videos.

The internet is replete with branded fanboys (from both sides of the story).. An Honest Response according to me cannot be guaranteed. Maybe those bikes were just meant to be seen by Pune ProBiking Customers (for 3 days) only.

Anyway the news is actually an Open Secret now courtesy modern technology (Mobile cam and YouTube)..

the video actually does look like a Sting operation.. the first in the History of Desi Bikes..??

    • But you can't expect a great response by just keeping them at one showroom.

Well it wouldn't have looked like a sting operation if they would have allowed to take pics/vids of the bike

exactly..! I'm with you ken..! If its not for publicity why was it there in the showroom in the first place.. and also even though the video was a sting operation. its was quite clear that its kept in the open where anyone can see it.
i'm thinking the whole thing is a gimmick to get a whole lot of attention..

Like everybody is saying, the internet offers a wider audience, especially xBhp where everybody is trying to be in their best manners, irrespective of what they are in real life! Normally, on the net its the other way round

So the most to the point, sensible, honest feedback, would be here rather than anywhere else.

Grow up Bajaj. Grow up me and you.

          • Someone from Bajaj works here. Bajaj official/s (obviously someone working at a higher level) must have seen the video being posted here in xBhp. He must have disapproved, and therefore, the action taken. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bajaj is wrong in creating such an over-reaction. But the mods here had no choice in my view.

            • Maybe there are no new upgrades. Maybe it was just a hoax Like a false bomb scare.

Bro, if that is true . . .

But most probably, the upgrades would be coming. BI has reported that the 220 is also to receive an upgrade. But noone knows how far that is true.

Me, personally, am waiting for a "warrior" to be released by Bajaj, but that I guess is OT!

BI had also once reported in one of its issues about a new Pulsar 200 DTS-Fi and a new P220 with Carbon Fibre finish exhaust.

What to believe, Whom to believe?

                    • Surprising why there's so much fuss about someone taking a video of not-yet-released motorcycles from a Bajaj showroom...Bajaj is overreacting...and some people here are supporting that!!!!

Is it a national security issue???? what the hell?

Bajaj shouldn't have put the bikes in showroom in the first place if they didn't want this to be out....if u have a vehicle even in just one showroom, it will reach out to people...simple!!!

They only speculate "The Pulsar 220 is expected to be launched with a better tuned engine and a slight increase in power plus an all-black treatment to the engine and the alloys."... nothing is concrete.

BI has long been speculating this and that just to keep its bike selling. I stopped believing them long back. Most of the persons there are capable of directly importing the big bikes (anyway they get to test them out quite frequently). So its me .. a common man with not so deep pockets who depends on the regular upgrades from our desi makers and waits for it.
