  • well I am a bit late here but it seems that the mods have moved some video that had the real images of the p200 and p220.My request is if the video has been removed we should see the pics of the bikes or stills from that vid, nothing wrong with that.

Anyway p150 is in more need than p200 or p220 for a revamp.Bcoz FZ16 is eating into the sales of p150,the main Pulsar that holds the market. It should be given the priority atleast in the looks department.Bike is still a very good 150cc.

      • ^^ Dude, someone's job in Bajaj was in danger due to that video. Good that it was removed.

Even Pics are unlikely to be shown now. Bajaj wanted to know public reactions, not raise expectations...

Regarding the video, I have seen it. Nothing special, just a P220-like bike with 200 sticker & black finishing, that's it!

and I agree about P150, it should be updated now... enough time already!

Was that a Nuclear warhead installation facility that the video had to be removed?

I wish this country and its manners improved a bit. The place would become more exciting to live in.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

No manufacturer(Indian or phoren) would want its news to be releaved to masses months before the launch of actual bike.

If wishes were horses, I would be riding 180 of them right now!

On a serious note, I hope Bajaj does launch that face lifted P200 soon enough. That is one machine which I am looking forward to; looked smashing!

20 people coming to a showroom knowing a thing and everyone(I mean the bikers) in the country knowing the same thing is a different thing.Anyways the bikes were there for only 3 days(They have kept the bike for one more day even after the news was out on xBhp).

Anyways let's see what's in store for us.

My point stands. You bring bikes out to a showroom for 3 days, it is NOT a secret anymore. Look at the name/topic of this thread. This is 2009. And there is Internet!

If they got the bike out in public, videos are bound to circulate. What do you expect! And for this they are making a scapegoat out of someone to sack him. Give me a break.

Agreed but from what I have seen from the video it looked like a sting operation.Nothing more nothing less.

                        • Ken Cool buddy..... I totally agree with you.....

coz no specific point's made by removing the video from xbhp, coz if you talk about Bajaj maintaining secrecy about it's bikes..... the video is still on YouTube and I don't buy the idea that Bajaj guys don't watch YouTube!!

but any ways we are here to dicuss about P200 and P180 vairants. As a P200 I used to be pretty much excited about new variants of the bike, but my excitement has somewhat exhausted by the over strecthed wait and melodrama arround the "expected release". Bajaj should really act fast and wisely else, I see more troubled days for it.

                            • Hi everyone,
Yesterday I had a chat with the owner of bajaj outlet of raipur, which will become a probiking showroom by next month.
He told me that although he does not know the specs and all, but the new bikes will come out in 1-1.5 months as BAL always launches newer models at the start of the new financial year

Well , it was a customer poll then why would it be kept as a secret? They must have known that a bigger audience can be targeted through internet.

I just think the guy at the showroom gave a very lame excuse to people why they shouldn't shoot pics or videos.
