well inder...i dont know what ur perception of a new bike is but when i saw this new p200...it looked like a totally new bike to me. With proper power upgrade and new front suspension, rear disc brake.if it would have been just a new stickering job then i would have agreed with u that this is not a new bike.

        cheers.

Well, I'll be d*mn*ed... just yesterday I visited the AMD probiking showroom. And these guys apparently know nothing about any of this. Though he said he'd be checking with HQ and see if he could get any info for me. Today I look here, and what do I see, upgraded P200s. Like what the hell is going on? I surely do hope they've got something good up their sleeve for the P220 now. There's been far too much silence about these bikes and upgrade for a long time now. Hope they clear things up soon.

A 19ps P200 is already a great thing, now to see what they can do to keep the P220 interesting.

A P220 with liquid cooled engine is possible as Bajaj were developing 125-250cc liquid cooled engines with KTM.

                    The HH way....

The Bajaj way is to burn their hands with fire, but give a better product everytime!

I doubt if they can extract more power from that engine, its already running at max of what it can develop. At max maybe a bhp or two if they really stress the internals.

then how about a 220 cc v twin maybe (along with full fairing , monoshock , LC , 4valves/cylinder of course )

You're right, that's what makes it all the more interesting, since I'm sure they don't want their top of the line beast to be almost the same as the P200 I assume. So we'll see, for now I'm definitely going to sit back and watch what happens next.

Bajaj seems to have killed the TVS Mennace(in terms of performance) even before it's launch .

Better than all that, why not throw in a better frame, suspension and some oodles of reliability.

There are loads of things Bajaj can do. Maybe to start with they should do some weight reduction on the bike. First thing to go should be that super heavy exahust!

Maybe not! I expect the Menace to be a P200 killer and something that can give the 220 a run. So even with the upgrades, the Menace might be menacing competition to the Pulsar brothers.!
