Well, I think they do. So, the 200 with the rear disc brakes and 19ps is the winner here.

Hands down, according to me. This bike will be one of THE best looking bike in the country, if they (Bajaj) plan to launch it. The upgraded P200 (minus the P220 fairing) is the bike to have!

I dont think so.... there have been many people not buying the 220 coz of the unreliability and extra cost.... now they will get the faring(remember the high quality lights)... and the 220 looks with a reliable 200 engine with more power.
Till now I guess its the 220 which gets the maximum stares... coz of its exclusivity and big bike feel(again coz of the fairing).
Less cost + 220 looks(nice headlights) + everything else on 220 (minus Fi) + reliability + more power = new 200

for the casual eye, the new p200 without the 220 fairing has nothing that will make it look better than the current p200.

The 200 sells more for its naked, butch looks and cheaper cost than the 220. If u provide the 220 fairing on the 200, the cost will shoot up and the point of the 200 is more negligible then. I would side with Aryan here. Give it 19ps+ rear disc+ DC lighting = new 200 retaining the old butch look and it hopefully will be a winner.

This is acceptable.... Agree with u aparajith. Upgrading the bike internals, showcasing the external as it was earlier, would be no pain for old and new customers.

If the P200 is given the P220 fairing, then what would be the difference between the P220 and the upgraded P200? Agreed, that the upgraded P220 might sport a radically different faring and perhaps other goodies. But, I still believe that the P200's butch naked look is unmatchable!

So, as far as I am concerned give me a Pulsar 200 with rear disc, clip on, DC electricals, etc. MINUS the P220's fairing, and I will sell my current P200 and get the new one ASAP!

I think apart from the looks, if the lights of 200 are upgraded to that of 220 (not fairing, but the projector headlights), it would be a great package.

You bugger! How many hidden secrets do you have?

Powerful headlights but I don't think those are the projector headlamps of the P220 by any chance, are they?

Looked very much like a reflector setup to me. Maybe they optimised the reflector to take a 60/55W bulb.

And just look at this thread...It started at 12 noon today and already 11 pages long..??

Anyways...I was/am a huge fan of P200 as I myself owned it some time ago..and now this new thing...Amazing...

I have some work now at Andheri..I'll make it a point to peep my head into Andheri Sai Service(One of the major PBK showrooms in Mumbai) and try to get some info and pics/vids...
