      I visited PBK today with Utkarsh and found the beauties there. It is true that something hot has been cooking at Bajaj Auto and the new bikes are a testimony to that.
      We were requested not to reveal the details and we will stay true to our word. All I can reveal is that there will be a relatively major upgrade in Bajaj Stables soon Sooner than you mite think and it revolves around the 200, 180 and 150 too

      For all those who hate Bajaj and TVS...especially the Y, H & S chasers, hold on...you are surely gonna see Bajaj and TVS tail pipes every place you ride...be it the highway or the track (No Im not talkin of the beauties in the showroom...Im talkin of whats cookin up )

        holy hell..!!something major by bajaj in 150,180 n 200..all of them??...!!...please please tell us...i cant take it anymore..i literally had a heart atack in the afternoon when i saw those beauties while jumping up and down...plz,u do not want a fellow xbhp member to suffer a cardiac arrest do you.??.....

                      So a whole day of excitement and I missed it completely.

                      But I'm happy that finally the P200 Fi rumour has been laid to rest.

                      Coming on to bikes.....
                      From whatever I have gathered from the posts it seems that the new P200 with fatter forks,clip-ons,rear disc,DC lighting,1 bhp increase will be the machine to go for. Just one question to people who have seen it-Is the new 200 comes with DC lighting or it also has a projector like the gladiator concept?If that's the case then it will be simply kick-ass.

                      If Bajaj can price the faired P200 correctly then I guess there will be many takers for that bike also.

                      P220 upgrades.Let's see what's in store for our beloved bike.

                        @MG: The spy video didn't quite show the headlight assembly per se, but as per ritwik, the new P200 does have DC electricals. So that should really be a big positive point!

                          Good to hear from you MG. I was wondering where you went while this thread ate up pages.

                          The P200 clearly had a reflector setup in whatever I saw. DC should help it's intensity be constant with low rpm speeds. Maybe giving it a brighter bulb in the same reflector setup is a good idea, because AFAIK, the current stock bulb setup is hopeless. Some of the current 200s are running an avenger coil, and a Osram NB 55W, and they are absolutely fantastic.

                          The pricing is the trump card in my point of view for Bajaj. Let's see if they throw up an ace.

                            @Aryan/Pranay-Thanks for the clarification.My job keeps me away from the forum for 2-3 days every week.

                            DC is definitely a welcome change.If they have included better lights then it would be even better.

                                Well just visited the PBK , and am disappointed .... these are not upgrades but a mere eyewash.

                                ->p180 becomes p200

                                ->p200 becomes p220 , 19ps ,clip ons and meatier shocks are confirmed and out of the following three options , only one will be selected

                                1)same look with disc

                                2)with 220 fairing a)no rear disc
                                b)with rear disc

                                and since he knows i have had 220 for almost 2 years now , he said the only upgrade coming for you is the ninja(after may09) , nothing else.
