We don't want to be responsible for the loss of anyone's job, hence the video has been removed. However, many of us have seen and commented on the video and the news anyways. The rest of us can visit the nearest PBK centre!Originally posted by chetanpulsar View PostI second that...... btw, hehe nice one

I say…..keep the same looks for the 200 but increase the power….I feel the 200 is the best looking naked styled bike in India…..My Q (and a very imp one at that): Do the present 200 owners (like myself) have a choice in upgrading their rides to the new one....as in fork and powerwise????........If bajaj is a true passionate and loyal bike maker ....they'll have some provision for this.....Hoping for the best

Called up the New Bombay Probiking centre, asked them if theres a new P200 model on display, the person on the other side said YES. Furthur I asked if its on sale, he said wait.... transferred the call to the manager, got a reply saying theres no such model on display
. On furthur bugging he said things like Fi and rear disc brakes on P200 are coming up in the new couple of weeks at same costs
.
No updates on 220 though and Ninja 250 will be launched in May 2009 he said.
Will visit the new bombay Probiking showroom today evening to check out things.Chetan

Guess, all we can do is wait for the actual upgrades to be launched. But, if these new features (including the FI) is launched at the SAME PRICE, then that would be quite an acheivement in itself on Bajaj's part, I say!

I knew this had to come. Knew Bajaj was watching.Originally posted by Aryan View PostModerator Message
The video has been removed for obvious purposes. Some officials, it seems have seen the video and certain people's jobs are in jeopardy. Hence, this step.
Thanks.
Remember a Bajaj team message to xBhpians some time back.Originally posted by chetanpulsar View PostAtleast we know that there is someone whos bothered that things have been known by some outside people.
WAAAT?? At the same costs, it will be a steal. Highly unlikely. Let's see if who you talked to was speaking the truth.Originally posted by chetanpulsar View Post...... On furthur bugging he said things like Fi and rear disc brakes on P200 are coming up in the new couple of weeks at same costs

Achievement would be an understatement. It would be a breakthrough in pricing department if its the same price.Originally posted by Aryan View Post...Guess, all we can do is wait for the actual upgrades to be launched. Might be an initiative by Bajaj to give its customers more in these times of recession and hence try win back its market share in the performance category (which looks highly unlikely when the biggy Yamaha is out to prove itself by giving us some really good machines)Originally posted by pranay View PostAchievement would be an understatement. This is what Bajaj is all about. A thread started today and it has already spanned 14 pages.RESPECT.
If the news is true.(I haven't been lucky to see the posted video in time) then Bajaj has truly thought things over and given the P200 the much needed upgrades. Hope it's lighter as well.
Carbs are good as they are(and can easily be made) much more mad than FI.
Having spent 6 months with a P200,I can vouch for the fact that it's one of the best machines on road today. And I will buy one again if I have to.
I will be,hopefully(
) be the first one to buy the new P200. I was just waiting for it all this while. Guess patience was worth it.
It's the normal version for me though without the P220 fairing. Always loved the subtle yet menacing looks of the P200.
Immense respect for that statement.Originally posted by prafultripathy View PostCorrection!
Bajaj is not yet a Yamaha!
I must admit that people who are disillusioned by Bajaj's 'sudden' upgrades musnt take it to their heart. When exactly was the P200 launched? Two years ago? It's a long time for an upgrade to be in line. Not to forget TVS did the same with the Apache 150 when they came up with the RTR.Last edited by nightwing; 02-26-2009, 10:30 PM.sigpic
