Lol. I am sure that would be launching same models with new fairing. Would make them look even more stupid. Hero has proved and will prove once again that they cant produce anything. Better stick to bicycles.

The reason they are giving is that Indian biking scenario has now shifted towards higher capacity bikes and there's no point in investing into 250 cc segment. Hilarious argument - isn't it? Maybe the Apache 310R has made the people in Hero realize that even if it were launched, the HX250R would not recover the cost of launching a brand new bike with new specifications!

        Approved and merged!

Too long on the shelves. Any potential buyers would already have lost interest.

Why on earth they need such a stage for launching a commuter, which no one cares really.

TVS should learn from someone who’s good at stickering jobs.

Facepalming myself seeing the launch!! They have already lost their potential customers who were seeking for an upgrade!!

Same stuff, slightly changed wrapper. Disappointing.

OT: came across this 'review' of XPro from 2014 - https://www.heromotocorp.com/en-in/b...asions-34.html

                  Extract -
Sure, but what about dubble seat? Are you always alone? What about wife? Don’t you have wife? Everybody has wife! Quite often you have to go DUBBLE with wife, and most likely your dubble (wife) will be bubble which most wifes become as time passes! So you need eXXtraa0 grunt0 of torquo to haul her! Which is exactly what the Xpro has!

I think we should not expect anything from Honda and Hero! They are a bunch of tw*ts who only care about money! Hero is surviving on Honda tech and their management has the brain of a 10 year old!
On another note, Bajaj and TVS are doing a great job of keeping the enthusiasts happy.

LOL. I was kinda bummed when Hero announced this. Didn't purchase any bike waiting for the production HX250. Now considering RR 310 or Dominar.

Agreed with hero India's state of affairs. They are just selling the same 20 year bikes with new stickers but Honda is different.
Sure they are not making high capacity bikes what us enthusiast wants but they are launching new products what mass market loves and those predicts are flying off the shelves. Though you may say there is only one engine in most of the cases but that is bullet proof one.
For example in scooter segment they have Activa,Dio,grazia,Navi, cliq, activa 125,aviator competiting for market share from the same showroom floor.

Honda has been selling the same engine in different costumes! Nothing other than the Hornet looks good in their line up! CBR250 hasnt got an update! I mean real update that they sell in other markets!! That too has been discontinued because of BS4 norms! If India hadnt made it mandatory! I am pretty sure they would be selling the same bike like forever in India!
