    KTM RC 200 & RC 390 Launched

    KTM has finally launched the long awaited RC series at mouth watering prices. The faired versions of the Duke 200 and 390.

    Bajaj Auto Ltd. launched the highly anticipated KTM RC series of supersport motorcycles, the RC 390 and the RC 200power to weight ratio of 262 Ps/tonnerapidly expanding network of 140 exclusive KTM dealerships in India.

    Mr. Amit Nandi, Sr. Vice President Bajaj Probiking -
    The RC 390 and RC 200 have been launched at a price of Rs. 205,000 and Rs.160,000 respectively (Ex-showroom Delhi). Bookings for both the bikes would commence from the 10th September, 2014 at all KTM showrooms.

            A big question mark over quality and reliability. People were expecting and in a way ready to pay a premium over the naked version anticipating better quality parts. Hope the niggles and issues have been sorted out.

            For 2.05 lac its a loot.

              Well, the RC390 has been compared to a two-stroke in terms of feel/fun/acceleration.

              The CBR300 will still have it's place and customer base.
              So will the Ninja 300.

              Three very different bikes. Priced differently too. But I don't see any killing of the competition.

              Unless you count the Mojo. Then yeah... this kicks Mojo butt. (sic)

                Since Ktm has been testing the Rc twins for so long I think quality and reliability will be worth the effort.

                  though they are launching very good bikes at a very good price,but buyers like me who live in odisha cant purchase it cause we dont have enough service centres or showrooms here.Just like nearby service centre is 250kms from my home town.Ktm dont have showroom here where big guns like Royal enfields and other have,

                      2L pricing for 390 and 1.6 L for 200 revives the hope for pulsar SS.
                      May be for the same 1.6L pulsar 400 SS can be expected.

                      RC series will kill the competition for sure .
                      Hope they maintain quality and provide good service .

                        The only so called competition (in terms of Price Range) is the CBR250R.. numbers of which are actually not that great.
                        The other would be the RE 500 models.. but then RE's appeal to a different set of customers


                        As for me: I want the Pulsar CS 400 at 1.70 Lakhs next..!!!

                              Does the 200 comes with ABS as an option?? If yes, then CBR250 is DEAD.
