            The RTR 180/200 is heavily based on Suzuki raider/FXR150 engine and most tech were an inspired attempt at replicating the original bike's tech.For example the oil cooled combustion chamber in RTR 200 is same as SACS introduced by suzuki GSXR-750 1985 and later used in smaller suzuki bikes.(suzuki advanced cooling system of Suzuki).
            You can even fine ports for the oil cooler pipes in RTR 180 although they are bolted shut as there is no oil cooler in 180.
            I specifically quoted the part where it was mentioned about the R&D. About G310 i have no idea about it hence cant say anything about it.

            Frankly speaking no one is a saint when it comes to R&D in India every other bike on the street is literally based on one bike or the other. Its better if we discuss the bike in question rather than analysing the prowess of a certain company.
            Someone speaking about TVS mopeds here i have one question why drag a bike which remained true to its purpose, to prove something. The 50s were meant to be sturdy workhorses and not for riders seeking 40+ bhp under 375cc. They served their purpose too well.

                Ya that one, I have lots of materials by walter kaaden. His work on harmonics of expansion chambers is exemplary and unrivalled. He is the father of expansion chamber and disc valves so in a way de-facto father of modern 2 strokes.
                I have read a book by mat oxley too called "stealing speed " which mentioned the whole japs (suzuki) stealing from MZ and degner smuggling his wife out of "The Fatherland". My point was tech was nascent at that time and japan was bombed back to oblivion. So copying a new tech made by a rival is understandable during a chaotic era . Adding to it yeah its always been the Europeans that develop and Japanese that perfect .

                    The 200cc engine is Fiero type and all the tech are of suzuki(FXR150/Raider150 step thru) only. BMW helped build G310R. Its yet to be launched so nothing can be said whether it is indigenous or rip off.

                            Those lovely looking Golden forks are hidden behind the fairing.. Of course it is the G310 with a fairing over it..

                                Wow..!! TVS is gambling on premium segment. TVS products are of good quality but the service department is towards the negative aspect. Hope TVS changes that too.
