Not sure if mentioned already, but the rear suspension gets a nice mud guard like the dukes.. the 300mm discs look like one single piece as against the two pieces of the 280mm.. not sure how that will play out..

live long.. live happy.. that's the best revenge that can be served to the people who hate you..

your rc has a two piece disc ? Are you sure.
Cos my d200 has a single piece.. it was replaced a couple of months after i bought the bike and it was single unit that is bolted on to the hub.
btw the 200 abs models always had a 300mm disc.

look closer, it only appears like a 'two piece' because the part where the pads bites looks polished compared to the inner area which is more a dull steel/faded appearance.

The front brake lever needs to be pressed quiet some distance to get the brakes working .its like if u press around 50%(WRT brake levers) from there the breaking point starts.I thought its a fault in my model but when I checked 2 more dukes the same thing happened.

two piece - the actual disc plate is one, and there's another inner disc that holds on to the wheel.. ok?

look closer at these images of the old rc (2014/2015)

first pic: non abs model. see how its mounted.. its one solid piece.

second and third: show the 200/390 abs models. these have the extra small circular notched disc which is a part of the abs mechanism. the disc is still a single unit.

not just these pics, I have had the rotor replaced in my presence and it was single unit.

I guess he's referring to Floating Discs.

He mentioned the old ones were two piece.. they are not. not even like the 'floating' ones you have shown (for example the unicorn has a disc construction like the one you have shown).
The ktm's so far (until 2015, not sure how its now) have a single solid piece of rotor. The pictures of which I have shared apart from my in person experience of having it replaced on my 200.

this pic..

there is a clear colour difference between the actual plate that touches the pads and the one that holds the plate.. i.e. the one between the plate and the wheel..

so that colour difference is due to two different pieces of metal being stuck.. Divya Sharan, KTM marketed the RC as floating discs.. IDK but mine don't "float" :P

they are really tight.. do not wobble/make sound.. funny..

In the owners manual (for 2015 variant) it's mentioned floating only on the rear disc and not the front. And also the front disc is shown to be 300mm, is that correct? I always thought it was 280mm
