Re: 3 New Bikes from Hero before Diwali!
150cc segment is what they are targeting right now. They are not the leaders in that segment. Those who want an upgrade from 100cc will look for the 150cc. Not every person will want to spend money on bigger bikes..Originally posted by sun105 View PostAchiever 150, Super Splendor and Passion PRO i think they should concentrate on making bicycles only
Please do keep in mind. They were the first to being in a 150cc bike as well as a 220cc bike in India.. they still have 12 bikes planned for this year as per the NEWS. Why not give them time instead of criticisingLast edited by rreneav1987; 09-01-2016, 10:47 PM.Splendor - 2k to 2006

+1 to the above
Thats correct, people who rides a Splendor and want to jump to 150cc category, Some may be skeptical to switch brands. Now that Hero is coming up with 150cc mills, It is a good move to capture the market in that segment as majority of the country are still riding 100-150cc bikes.R15S - Current
Honda Dio - Current
TNT 600i - Sold
Classic 500 - Sold
Pulsar 220 dtsi - Sold
Yamaha YBX125 - Sold

Re: 3 New Bikes from Hero before Diwali!
Hero already has Nice 150cc bikes in their line up. They are under rated.. I have a Hunk so I know what it can do.. smooth as butter and it excels in terms of performance for a 150cc bike. Can't compare it with R15 though..Originally posted by TheArcher84 View Post+1 to the above

Hero is still India's largest seller and and that too by a big margin. I am sure they wilk launch good products through out this year and as far as HX250 is concerned its not dead as it was there in auto expo. If you will analyse the market closely honda sales minus activa is nothing but shameful. On the other hand hero- splendor = 3 lac+ figure which is still a very good figure. Honda is fully dependent on activa only which is a minus point for them.sigpic
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith and use up a lot of fuel....

Re: 3 New Bikes from Hero before Diwali!
Given that a scooter is also a motorcycle, why exactly is the Activa sales "shameful"? You just stated Splendor sales = 3 lac + and then you say relying on one product by a manufacturer is shameful? Care to explain?Originally posted by Naveen1985 View PostDying...?? Are you serious..??

Never get why motorcycling sites in this country are so sore about the scooter market these days. The segment is so popular that almost all the manufacturers are now focusing on it, and that includes Aprilia who's first localized product is a 150cc scooter. Yamaha, Suzuki, TVS, Mahindra and even Hero wants a share of that big scooter pie which is why they're all bringing in more and more models to compete. They're all in it for the 2 wheeler market pie charts afterall.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Did you read the news? With the i3S tech, so the bikes are not coming with a new sticker job, but with a new engine job.Originally posted by sun105 View Postplease read the title again it is "3 New Bikes from Hero before Diwali!" now may i ask you which one is new bike among three bike mentioned in the news.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Re: 3 New Bikes from Hero before Diwali!
There won't be any spy shots on the highways with camouflage and it will be a direct launch because after the opening up of R&D center in Jaipur, Hero is testing the bike inside the factory itself as was evident from the Mega factories on National Geographic a little while back.Originally posted by rreneav1987 View PostNo NEWS as of now. So spy shots I don't think so will be available.
But if it is available will be good for the prospective customers.

Re: 3 New Bikes from Hero before Diwali!
Yes but then the factory roads cannot replicate the actual road conditions, right. Eventually, they have to bring it out of the factory for testing purposes in real time environment.. they don't have Leh Ladakh in their factory do they [emoji16]Originally posted by tusharxtreme View PostThere won't be any spy shots on the highways with camouflage and it will be a direct launch because after the opening up of R&D center in Jaipur, Hero is testing the bike inside the factory itself as was evident from the Mega factories on National Geographic a little while back.
